“This local restaurant has an awesome atmosphere with tons of outside seating with great landscape lighting, fire pits, and propane warmers at every table. Not many choices for food, but they do have a tasting room and they make their own ciders.”
“I've been meeting to stop by the tea garden for a long time, and today I finally had the chance. I ordered one of the drinks of the month, which was a jasmine tea with mandarin orange in it. It had a real mandarin orange that was crushed to a pulp and a slice if lime. It came out so good. It tasted good and was wonderful for spring. The folks who work there are full of positive energy and the atmosphere was chill. I encourage everyone to stop by and grab something. I was also lucky enough to come in the day after St. Patrick's Day, and they were giving away pastries, that were St. Patrick's themed. Please support this local small business. It us worth the stop!”
“Passing through so stopped for a couple coffees. Ordered a lavender vanilla latte and a luck of the Irish. The latte was good but didn't like the second drink much. It was too strong with the Irish Creme. The service was great and the covered walk-up window and outdoor seating is a nice touch. It was a cloudy day so The Mountain wasn't out.”
“My husband and FiL loved their coffee and service. We were visiting from out of state and they still are talking about how great the coffee was here (black and the other was with cream).”
“I buy from them regularly at the Proctor farmers market in Tacoma. The woman who runs it is very sweet and their honey is unbeatable. Plus local honey means no more seasonal allergies for me!”
“Quiet little spot with awesome food. We tried a few things and all of it had great flavor and was well done. My son ordered pizza and a taco salad. The southwest sauce they serve as a dressing is delicious and perfect for the salad. My husband did spicy honey wings that were so good! My pulled pork Mac and cheese was delicious. We also did a big kahuna pizza and it was super good. We will be back!”
“I live locally and enjoy stopping for frozen yogurt or ice cream occasionally. They have good, friendly service, decent prices and a large selection of flavors to choose from. Do you carry ice cream cakes? Eatonville could really use a place for celebration cakes and adding this as pre-ordered ice cream cakes would be awesome.”
“Food was really good, tasted really fresh, loved the amount of options and it had some arcade games for the kids. Service was fast and friendly, music was a little loud and did end up having us leave early. Great price!”
“They have a very nice place to sit and eat. Very clean. Great food and service. Everyone there is kind and the servers always check on you to see how things are. I recommend them to anyone who loves Mexican food or to anyone who hasn't tried it yet.”
“Their food is top notch! Made fresh and is so good. I'm picky about how hot and sour soup is made and theirs is my new favorite! I try to get it every time I come to Eatonville.”
“Nice seating area with a fireplace and totem pole. Decent food.Outdoor covered picnic shelter and outdoor tables and chairs with unbrellas. Both overlooking Kids Trek play area.”
“This burger was absolutely everything I needed. The woman running the place was also amazing, she was bartending, taking orders, and I think even cooking??? She was doing it all and was wonderful!! Very good atmosphere inside.”
“This is really a good place to eat. Since George is back as their head chef, the food is as good as many of the upscale restaurants in Tacoma. We highly recommend this restaurant.”
“Came in for takeout at lunch time. Took a bit because it's not really their thing but the food was great and the service was excellent. Hope they don't mind if we stop in again!”
“I had a delicious BLT for lunch. I ate half before I remembered to take a picture. The bacon was scrumptious! My husband had the fish and chips which he also enjoyed. The service was fantastic especially considering we were a large group of 20+.”
“Dinner in a railroad car, that doesn't require tickets or reservations? Sign me up! Who cares if it's not chugging along on the tracks?Sure, a meal-on-the-go is certainly something to experience, but the Mount Rainier Railroad Dining is *so* much more accessible. Serving up large portions at slightly inflated prices, by slightly-aloof servers, this long, narrow diner is precisely 50% of the reason anyone would ever come to visit the tiny town of Elbe (the other half being the Hobo Inn, a hotel that is an extension of the restaurant).Avoid the Bloody Mary, as it is watery and unimpressive. Similarly, if the soup du jour is chicken egg-drop, give it a pass as well. Conversely, the Bacon Bleu Cheeseburger and the Fish and Chips are both fantastic, so the pub grub here comes highly recommended. So don't jump the tracks and try something unusual, and you're sure to have a thoroughly enjoyable meal! And remember, this is a train, so don't forget to CHEW CHEW!Parking: Free parking. EV charging station out front.”
“The customer service was really good. Marie was really helpful and courteous. Working on new years I wasn’t expecting such a happy smiling face. Thanks, Marie!”
“This place is the best!!My husband and I just moved here and this is definitely our new spot for daily coffee runs, the staff is so nice and they are super dog friendly with our pups!!Their menu is unbeatable and they are really great at giving good recommendations !!We will be coming here for as long as we live here !!!”
“First visit to my fiancé's hometown. I have been hearing about this spot and especially their root beer on tap for quite a while. Everything delivered. Great food at a reasonable price. Club sandwich was solid. Shrimp and chips were awesome. I failed to get the bar tenders name (petite brunette) , but damn she hustled. Handled the bar and the room (drink and food orders) with ease. A true professional. Friendly and a great attitude. Open kitchen allowed me to watch the food being prepared. Great cook who handled everything with ease and proper standards and systems. I am an executive chef, so I know a thing or two about kitchens and restaurants. (wink)It was nice to see all of the personal touches from the regulars (signed dollar bills, license plates, photos, etc.) Can't wait to return. Great small town vibe and folks.Parking: Fills up when crowded, but not too bad really.”
“We stopped in after a day of golf, as we hadn't been here in a long time. The bartender, Jennifer, was quick to wait on us and take our order. The food came out fast and was hot and the fries were cooked perfectly. Upon eating the burgers we found them to be delicious and huge! The margarita and draft beer was good as well. The music was a little bit too loud as we had a difficult time hearing each other so we ate in silence. With such a small area it doesn't need to be that loud, in our opinion.”
“A friendly lady approached us and asked us exactly how we wanted our grilled chicken pizza and mushroom-olive pizza with tomato sauce as they were off the menu. She then made a perfectly cooked, well topped pizzas for us and we ate them next to the alder lake in the afternoon breeze! They were DELICIOUS, thank you! WA maybe a cold state but people are warm here!Vegetarian options: YES!! Thank you!!”

“Cute little diner. Everything about this place exceeded expectations. The service was friendly and fast. The menu had many options! Definitely try the strawberry milkshake and get cookies on your way out! The chocolate chip and sugar were amazing. Visiting from Ohio, and I wish I could go back more often!”
