Miso marinated black cod (sablefish) tastes amazing. Delicious for home cooked. I feel like I’m eating something meant for a fancy restaurant. Too bad there’s only 6 pieces of fish in there. Tastes great. Bought from Costco

This company is so nonchalant about their quality control that they simply seem like they don’t care. I purchased a brand new package of frozen taco cuts cod and thawed it out only to find worms…. They never returned my voicemail so I called back to be told “thanks for letting us know… but they are wild caught so it happens… anything else I can do for u.” Being told their quality control with the candle lights helps to ensure no worms yet they were nearly impossible to miss. They simply didn’t seem to care about anything & assured me it was safe to eat. I’m sorry but I’m pregnant and have a toddler who is easily susceptible to sickness… my husband was so disappointed. I Will never feed my family fish from this company again, this was our first time purchasing and our last.

Terribly disappointed. The cod we purchased was a tail of a fish, could not cut with a knife let alone flake with a fork. Unedible! Quality control not good.Will not purchase again.

Ordered frozen, line caught Alaskan cod from Imperfect Produce. When defrosted, the fish had a spongey texture and I could squeeze out about half it's original weight in water by pressing down on the flesh. This looks as if it was dried cod, rehydrated, and then frozen. I hope to make Alaskan Leader aware that the sources they distribute might be cheating them.
