Quite a few distanced tables in the outdoor open air patio facing out towards the sunset and boat harbor. All recommended precautions seemed in place. Beautiful flower boxes in full bloom with view of ferry in the distance.

It's Father's Day weekend and when looking at the weather this weekend, we thought we would take advantage of the day before and try something new for us ... and by the water. We get bored with the same trip to Kirkland at times so we decided to head to Edmonds! We wanted to check out Anthony's Beach Cafe and so glad we did. We got there around 5 and didn't have reservations. We were greeted with a friendly smile and guests were waiting 6 feet away from another to check in. It was our turn to check in and the hostess said it would be about 25 minutes and we were totally okay with that. We wondered outside by the water which is super pretty and wanted to let our toddler run around too so she can be relaxed while we all try and eat. 15 minutes went by and they sent us a text! Off we went. Got a nice table outside. All tables are spaced. All servers are wearing masks, some with gloves which is nice to see. Our server was good. Not too attentive and a little forgetful with things but we could tell he was busy and that is okay. We were having fun. We started with calamari! Super good. Highly recommend! I got the mahi mahi tacos. Tasty as well but didn't care for the tortilla chips. You just get a few and wished they offered a different side if I'm honest! My husband got the fish and chips and those were delicious. Loved the lemon aioli- they don't have ranch but this tasted pretty close. Their tartar sauce is good too. I'm bummed I didn't take any pics! I wish I did. I only got one of the view. I will be back and will definitely take some! Side note: curious if the staff cleanses the check presenters and all the condiment bottles? After we used the malt vinegar, we were like hmmmmm let me grab the hand sanitizer real quick before I pick up my taco! Lol. Anyways, we enjoyed and we will be back!!

We drove around trying to find a restaurant with outside seating. Most were full and had waiting so we went down to the Edmonds Marina and decided on Anthony's Beach Cafe.It was a lovely sunny evening. Sitting outside, socially distant from other diners, downloading our menus on our smart phones so we don't have to touch more than we have to, and they don't have to clean more than they need to.Food was great! We received a basket of buttered focaccia while we waited for our food. I ordered the wild salmon fettuccine with zucchini & mushrooms with a lovely creamy sauce with just a touch of dill. Husband ordered the Almond Chicken Salad. We both loved our orders. We were both very satisfied until our very pleasant waiter asked if we were interested in dessert. I just wanted to know what they had. When he said his personal favorite is the strawberry shortcake, I knew I had to have it. When it arrived I knew immediately the strawberries were local. None of the tasteless California strawberries for this place. Also it has real whipped cream! We were in heaven and yes, we ate the whole thing! We will definitely return!

Was happy to get back to my favorite restaurant today! The staff were friendly as always, food was delicious ( especially the bread) and the precautions they are taking for sanitation was top notch. We will def be coming back.

Sadly, this place just isn't as good as it used to be. Started with a cosmo that had a dried up slice of lime on the rim. The drink didn't have much flavor. Same with my seafood chop chop salad. Seemed expensive for mediocre quality. Visited again on a quiet Saturday night. Food is lackluster. More fill-yer-belly than my memory of fresh and fabulous seafood from decades ago. They still have an amazing view of the ferry boats coming and going across the Sound with the Olympics in the background. Wonderful spot to watch the sunset. Service was fine as was the food but it's no longer destination worthy.

Stopped in again for dinner with the family .. Just like before it was okay but not excellent.. That bread is delicious but for a non seafood loving gal like me only two non seafood dishes.. Almond Chicken Salad and Teriyaki Chicken plate ... Just okay nothing fabulous other then the location and vIew of the harbor Family loves it but for me it's a 3.5 ....Chicken Salad was okay too much ginger ( which I moved to the side ) Get more non seafood dishes and I will probably enjoy it more ! Service was friendly otherwise :)

Used to be so good. They dumped the BBQ garlic prawns, shrank the portions on everything else, and keep raising the prices dramatically every year. Shame - an Edmonds staple

Anthony's has an upstairs (fancy) and downstairs café (kid-friendly). Both are excellent. Service is great in both. My in-laws love going to the café every time they are in town, and my husband and I just had or first night out together at the upstairs restaurant. Service was impeccable, as was the food. We ordered the Steak Oscar, and when it arrived, we both kind of chuckled at how small the steak was, but it was perfectly portioned (with crab on top). If you are looking fora kid-friendly dining option, downstairs is perfect with bread baskets, and kids menus. Reservations are probably advised on weekends, especially if you want a view.

Been here several times, nice casual restaurant that has a great view of the water. Service is pretty good on the right day. The sand play area is great in summer for kids. However, my last few times here have not been great. The last time, we waited for a half hour for a table on a weeknight when half the tables were empty. We were told we would be seated in 10-15 minutes but ended up walking out after 30 minutes of waiting. Not sure if it was an off day or what, but since I was bringing an out of town guest that evening it was a bad first impression. We ended up driving to Scott's in Shoreline and though their place was nearly full, they sat us in 5 minutes.
