Delectable! We had the jerk pork loin (the star of the nigh imo), the jerk half chicken, beef stew and the pineapple veggie curry. The jerk spices were spot on. It was a bit of a wait for our food for a table of 5 but absolutely worth it.
The waiter was very attentive and friendly. It was quiet enough that we could converse without yelling (a rarity now it seems).
We hope to return soon.
Everything was great! atmosphere, food and service 10/10

PHENOMENAL Caribbean restaurant, their Oxtail Poutine is hands down some of the best oxtail I’ve ever had, and their Jerk Chicken is AMAZING as well! The Curry Goat just melted in your mouth! The service was quick, and not waitress was incredibly kind! 10/10 will visit next time I return to WA

I truly enjoyed the nights I came here. They were walking distance from my hotel, so my mom and I would grab a drink and appetizer each of the three nights we visited. Gracie is an absolute gem and we loved talking to her and getting to know her! If you’re in Edmonds, do yourself a favor and stop by Calypso.

This place is amazing! The drinks were great, but this food was even better!!! Mikey gave us premier service and was above and beyond helpful with assisting our decisions.
Thank you for such an unforgettable evening and experience!

We were really looking forward to returning, but unfortunately, this visit left us disappointed. The jerk chicken was overwhelmingly spiced—almost like a misguided interpretation of what jerk should taste like. Drinks were average, and the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price. Some items were simply inedible, like the coconut shrimp, which had thick, undercooked breading, and the oxtail flatbread, which completely missed the mark.
It’s a shame, because the venue has such potential to be a stylish, laid-back lounge. Instead, it felt more like an uninspired, low budget Tommy Bahama. The food would really benefit from being more authentic and casually elevated.

It’s very clear they got a new chef because things have changed. I’ve been here many times, what we had was not Caribbean food.
We waited more than 30 mins for our small appetizers to arrive. We had very burnt dry jerk chicken wings with grainy, flavorless “blue cheese dip”, bland coconut shrimp and dry cornbread. And also I was super thirsty and the server waited to give us water and didn’t serve it to us until our other drinks we ordered were ready.
We also noticed on their menu they have watermelon feta salad priced as $18. You can buy watermelon at the store for $1. Why is that priced so high? I don’t recommend wasting your money here.
Please go to Pam’s kitchen in Seattle if you want true authentic Caribbean food. This was a disappointment.

I have been wanting to go since they opened and finally was close enough to visit. We had the oxtail flatbread starter, and it was amazing. The bread was super fresh and the oxtail was very tender. There was melty cheese and a nice salty cheese on it. The mains were very approachable. The curry goat was tender and flavorful. The mahi was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. There was no chalk art by the talented Jennifer which was disappointing, look for it on Facebook.

This USED to be our all-time favorite restaurant in Edmonds, but now we will never return. We used to go quite frequently, but haven’t been able to for the past several months. Obviously, they have a new cook, which is so unfortunate. We went there the other day because I was craving their Caesar salad And jerk chicken, which were the best I have ever had. Unfortunately, there, female weight staff was no longer there, and they had a young man who was Lazy and inattentive. Instead of using party wings, the appetizer consisted of full-size chicken wings made with a different recipe which I did not care for at all. Then, when the Caesar salad came, I noticed it had breadcrumbs on top instead of croutons! Who does that? There were also sliced bell peppers, and the Caesar dressing recipe was changed. Not the same recipe they had been so well known for. It saddens me that they have had a change in staff. We will no longer go there nor give gift certificates to our friends for this place. So sorry.

Must remember to take pictures next time. The jerk chicken was so good, I ate it without thinking about pictures. Smokiness and seasoning were on another level. Sorry, I guess you'll just have to try it yourselves. The guacamole was also incredible.

After way too long of wanting to try this place and never getting around to it, we finally visited, and wow, it was absolutely worth the hype! We had the camote (sweet potato) bowl, jerk chicken skewer, and the fajitas. Delicious, fresh flavors; everything is made in their own kitchen and it shows. Great cocktails and friendly service too. We ended the meal with rum cake--WOW, so good--and left absolutely stuffed and just about had to roll ourselves back to the car! Will definitely be back, maybe next time for happy hour so we can try a lot of small plates without breaking the bank. 😅
(This is a small establishment, and the food takes a bit longer to prepare, so I assume there can be a bit of a wait at peak times. Might want to have a backup option if you're in a hurry.)

I was in line for the ferry with my 11 yr old and we had 45 mins to wait so we walked over to this restaurant and Im so glad we did and I'm grateful they are kid friendly. My first time having jerk chicken- it was really good! My only recommendation is for them to come up with a couple unique desserts, that would be cool.
