Friendly staff. Very flavorful food. Some of the best flavors I've tried in a while. Was disappointed they didn't have some of the items but everything I did get tasted great. I got the jalapeno corn bread with honey butter, jerk wings and jerk pork loin.

Disappointed would be the word here. My now wife and I have been here 6 or 7 times now. Every time, except today, has been excellent. We came here the day we were engaged and chose to come back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We could have gone any where, but chose calypso , as it has a special meaning to us. Our favorite server there, Carly, was not working last night. That was the first bummer. Our server was nice enough, though she had no help. The owner , Jennifer, was not in yet, and our server was trying her best to do everything as they got busier and busier on the nice Saturday afternoon. Our entrees took quite awhile, and when they finally did come, my pork loin was way over cooked and partially burned. It used to come with some vegy, now some sweet potato or Yam along with the rice and beans ? Really? Carb overkill! I had also ordered a glass of wine that I requested with my entrée. Our server mentioned it was ordered, however it finally showed up, halfway through our dinner. On a small side note, as mentioned, my wife and I have dined there many times now and have met and spoke with Jennifer ( owner) numerous times. She didn't acknowledge our presence last night once. Cleared our plates but never even said " welcome back", or "how have you two been?" Nothing. No one said good bye when we left either. Even though both our server and the owner saw us leave. They need to right this ship or we probably won't be back, especially if Carly is not working. As mentioned, disappointed.

Came for brunch and we were pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the food. While not the heat level of a traditional Caribbean restaurant it worked perfectly for my weak spice level tolerance.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu, crayons and coloring sheets, even stickers for their entertainment. There were 2 all gender bathrooms. The one we used did not have a changing table.

Food is good enough. Service was mixed. Arrived and was told by a server that wait would be 10-15 minutes because several tables had just left. Waited in the front while she then checked her phone and sent text messages. Once seated we were offered beverages by the same server who got impatient with my 83 year old mom and mid order said "I'll give a few minutes" and walked away. We were then taken over by another server who was better. Food was tasty. Caesar was good....but the woman in spandex pants and brown hair who worked early yesterday afternoon...should not be in the restaurant business.

Restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. Cornbread was hearty with butter, the seasoned fries with habanero aioli with little parmesan cheese. Coconut prawns were good but quite less in quantity. Rasta pasta with its awesome jerk cream sauce was loaded with flavorful vegetables. However, the standout dish for me was the curried goat; it was delicious. Drinks were amazing. This place also has happy hours, even on weekends. Overall, it was a great place to dine for both dates and family gatherings, albeit with not a lot of parking space.

We came for Valentine's Day dinner and had the best meal in a long time. We read reviews and learned that the jalapeño corn bread was good. So we ordered it and it really is amazing. Wish I had more. My husband ordered a steak and gave me a bite. Its was the best steak I’ve had in a very long time. Better than Daniel’s broiler and Ruth Chris!! I had the jerk chicken and it was perfectly seasoned and I was left thinking about it for the past few days! The service was top notch and everyone was very friendly. For dessert we got the key lime pie. So delicious! We can’t wait to go back!!

We had jerks wings as a starter and I had curried goat as a main which tasted like a home cooked meal,I loved it. The plantains that came with it were ??. I loved the reggae music. Calypso gave a home away from home

Chill atmosphere. Service was great. The guy went the extra mile buy warming my coffee cup for my Irish coffee ( thank you) I had the "biscuits " and gravy which was actually jalapeño cornbread and 2 perfectly poached eggs. It was delicious could have eaten more potatoes. Thank you for a good meal with great service.

Had dinner here for the first time and liked the food and drinks we ordered. A busy Saturday night and they were short on staff but they were upfront about it which is always appreciated as it sets expectations. The jerk chicken and shrimp and grits were spicy and well prepared. I had a non alcoholic cocktail that was nice. The place can be a bit loud so don't expect a quiet meal. It's lively. Service was friendly and prompt given the limited staff.

Excellent and spicy goodness! First off, the Jalapeño Cornbread is a must have to start. The Rasta Pasta with jerk chicken was wonderful and my taste buds were singing. Finish it off with the Rum Cake that was fluffy and not too sweet. The Pain Killer was a nice drink for the whole meal.
