Claire’s served a delightful lunch! We went on Friday at noon and even though the restaurant was very busy. We walked right in and sat down at a table. The service was excellent. The menu is huge, tons of options to pick from, all day brunch is served with plenty of waffle and pancake and French toast options. The crispy potatoes were especially good, there’s a curry spice on them that makes them unique and very tasty. Great spot!

Vegetarian options: You can remove the meat from any dish to make it vegetarian so there are plenty of options

Parking: Street parking is free for 3 hours, if you can find it

Kid-friendliness: Kids would love this place, lots of pancake and waffle options

If I could give zero stars, I would! The customer service was absolutely terrible and incredibly rude. After calling ahead, a short Asian woman assured us that a table would be ready. However, when we arrived, she became extremely hostile and refused to seat us because she forgot to write down our name. She completely ruined our little sister’s 18th birthday morning, leaving her in tears. This place held sentimental value as our late grandmother used to bring her here every birthday since birth. Truly heartbreaking and unacceptable.

We ate Thanksgiving dinner here tonight. The food was fine but the servings were small and it was SO expensive! It was $42 per plate. This did not include pie and shockingly it did not include a roll. I asked for a roll but they said it wasn’t included. Here is my meal. I should have put something alongside it to show size. It is a smallish plate. Yes dinners around Edmonds on Thanksgiving are expensive. Anthony’s was $50 for example. BUT it’s Anthony’s!!!! You also got a roll and dessert, so cheaper than Claire’s. Way overpriced for the small portions with no roll or dessert. Know who you are and the clients you serve.

I see we weren't the only people who were disappointed with the Thanksgiving meals today. Prices were simply out of control, we pre-ordered the prime rib and it was very dry and overcooked, turkey was disappointing also. Paid nearly $400 for 5 meals, will not be going back.

The location of the place is perfect and we were able to park immediately across the street ( 3 hour parking free). They accept last orders at 245 pm and then they are close for the rest of the day. I ordered the Cobb Salad with raspberry vinaigrette and husband had a burger that came with tomato basil soup. Everything on the salad was fresh and it was a good size portion. Burger is good sized too. The taste is ok. The ladies serving were attentive.

Our server Drew was super friendly, and she stayed on top of the coffee like a champ. Food was great, reasonable price. We were able to get seated immediately, which was fantastic (we showed up around 12:30 on a sunday). If you haven't been here before, be aware you will need to find street parking.

Gluten free French toast special. If you don’t want it juicy, leave off the strawberry compote. I loved the blueberry, banana fruit toppings and fresh whipped cream. I added a pkg of sugar in the raw to the fruit and it was perfect.
Jackie was our waitress and she was great. Clean and nice atmosphere. I’d go here again.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread made good French toast!

I've walked past this restaurant many times, and today was the first time I've had a meal here. It looks like an old-time, basic restaurant, and it is in all the best ways.
I had one of the best BLTAs I've had in a looong time. The bread was perfectly toasted, and there were generous portions of both the bacon (cooked crisp, just the way I like it) and avocado. For my side, I chose cole slaw, and again, it was a generous portion. Our server was friendly, and our food was served promptly. We ate in a booth in the bar, which wasn't crowded. It was a little quieter than the main dining room due to the lower ceiling.
This experience reminded me not to make assumptions. Sometimes, an unassuming place is a gem!
