Restaurant is near the Edmonds waterfront view point/Brackett's Landing. Doesn't look like a big place from the outside but a fairly large restaurant. Service was quick & food was great.

Cheerful, prompt service, great food, and a nice view of the Sound from the outdoor seating area, which is kept pleasantly warm in the cold months. The train is RIGHT THERE at times, a little noisy for a few minutes at a time, but no big deal if you're patient. There's a wide variety on the menu, something for all tastes. And the bartender made an exemplary Martini, to boot. Demitri's will be in our regular rotation for a meal out.

Love the food. The calamari is amazing. The chef is very accommodating to guests dietary needs. (gluten free).
The bar is a staff workstation and not really a social bar. There are more liquor choices than your local liquor store. Drinks are creative, pretty, and pricey.
The water view, electric fireplaces and a heated patio are all lovely.
The bathrooms smell like farts and need proper toilet paper dispensers.
Servers are knowledgeable and friendly. They don't generally pre-bus, so you may sit with your dirty dishes until you leave. Turnover is high. In the 8 months I was employed there, I saw 4 managers replaced and 7 employees fired. Several without an explanation. There is a unfortunate disregard for staff and labor laws. I felt obligated to report that part along with the all things they do well. I wish everyone at Demetris continued success and successful solutions.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free breading for fish and chips and calamari are amazing and a must have. The gluten free pizza crust needs to be prepped well done or it isn't that good.

The food was delicious, but maybe too rich? Definitely don’t say that often. We got full very fast! The food with the atmosphere was very nice. But we had our food thrown on our table and our server didn’t come till we were done eating. Definitely ruined the experience for us and not likely to go back after that.

Ordered 2 apps. Both were about the same flavor wise. Couldnt tell the difference. Place is beautiful and the food came out looking great! Sadly my steak was not cooked to my liking or even want i asked for it to be cooked at. The servere didnt ask if anything was wrong as she took away 3/4th of a ribeye from our table. I didnt say nothing cause i didnt want to start any issue, as the other half of my table was already done with their meal. I dont think ill be back.

I was very happily surprised by Dimitri’s Tavern! The decor is incredibly unique, creating a fun and memorable atmosphere. We were lucky to snag a last-minute reservation on a busy Friday night when the sun was out and everyone seemed to be looking for a spot. Despite the crowd, we were able to sit outside with the heaters on, which made for a cozy experience.
The place was packed, and our server was clearly overworked, so service was a bit slower, but we completely understood given how busy it was. That said, the food more than made up for it—everything was absolutely delicious. We started with the flatbread and roasted cauliflower, both of which I would highly recommend. The scallops and crab dip were fantastic, and the sliders were simply divine. I also tried the whiskey flight, which was a perfect choice for keeping warm.
One small downside is the train that passes by, but the view of the water still makes up for it. The restaurant is clean, the staff is super friendly, and the menu offers a wide variety of reasonably priced options. The only other thing to keep in mind is parking—it’s street parking, so you may need to hunt for a spot.
Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Had a nice dining experience at Demetri’s in Edmonds. Overall, the food was pretty good and the atmosphere made for a pleasant evening.
The salad was fresh and flavorful—definitely a highlight for me. My guests enjoyed their drinks, and from the way they were talking, the cocktails were hitting all the right notes.
The service was excellent—our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of. Honestly, she was one of the best parts of our visit.
My only gripe was with the pork tacos. The meat was on the dry side, which was a bit of a letdown considering how good everything else was.
Still, Demetri’s gets a solid 4 stars from me. A great spot for drinks, fresh salads, and warm service. Would definitely give it another shot!
Honestly enjoy their food which is too bad cause this place no matter how many times I try has the absolute worst service of any restaurant in Edmonds avoid unless you wanna wait an hour to have a server come to your table.

Went here for the first time for our 9 year anniversary and it was AMAZING! Had a reservation on Halloween at 6:30pm and I was expecting it to be extremely busy but we were able to be seated in a nice quiet corner and everyone was SO friendly. We ended up ordering the Oven Roasted Brussels sprouts, lamb chops and the steak and frites and every single dish was absolutely delicious with plenty of leftovers for the 2nd day. If you are ever in the Edmonds Ferry terminal area, I HIGHLY recommend it and we will definitely be coming back ?

Great night at Demetris. The appetizers were out of this world! The spicy Mussels were so good, I ended up having it for my main meal. So fresh and delicious! Service was great too. I even forgot my phone on the table and she ran after us and caught up a block later!! Now THAT is service.

I love Demetris. Period.
The servers are friendly, Patient (!), efficient, thoughtful, gracious, accomodating, funny, caring... the only problem is we can't take them home to look after us there.
The food, esp appetizers, is a magnet, a hook in the cheek, a savory tasty connection that forces us to return again (anniversary) and again (another birthday). We always order too many appetizers because we don't know if we'll ever eat again, and we'd regret leave anything untasted.
The daily Fresh Sheet expands the respectable regular menu with additional temptations hard to resist. Every bite is a treat, a gift, and every exchange with our (deuce or 9 or 10-top-abused) server is an opportunity to experience flawless, personal customer service.
I am SO looking forward to our next excuse to ignore all of the fine restaurants that Seattle proper has to offer, and return to Edmonds to (the easy-to-find-parking blocks adjacent to) Demitris, and surrender my dining cares to whomever we are lucky enough to have serving our meal that night.
Parking: We always find street parking within a block and a half, at dinnertime.
