This place has the best Bossam I have ever had in North America. The meat is cooked to perfect tenderness, coupled with good kimchi and soil bean paste yummy! The fried chicken wings was also battered very deliciously. Overall, great food. Only small complaint I had would be they only had one server, he was so busy it was hard to get his attention sometimes but he was very polite and courteous. Great experience overall.
Always good food and good vibes here!
For me Gilson is among the best Korean BBQs in north Seattle, their skirt steak, pork intestines are really good. I like their bossam too.
If you are going here for the BBQ part suggest not. If you like to pick your own sides DO NOT go here, they do not do COMBOS. Waiter had great customer service that was only the good part. I’ve been to quite a few other places for the BBQ and unfortunately we will not be returning to this establishment sad to say.
Food is good. Recommend bossam and the peach drinks(with alcohol). Also the pig intestines. It is awesome without unpleasant taste.
One con is that the restaurant is very noisy. Everyone is talking really loudly and you can barely hear what your friend is saying.
Food is pretty good - they serve standard Korean dishes. The soybean paste soup is the best one I’ve had in a long time. Prices are decent. Service is on-par with the type of food they serve; the people are friendly. Kinda a hole in the wall feel of a restaurant. Banchan is a bit underwhelming; not much variety. But then again, can’t expect much given the type of standard food they serve.
Staff was very friendly and helpful! Food is delicious, healthy💕 i 100% reccomend this place. I will keep going there from now on!
My favorite Korean restaurant in town.
Ordered the soft tofu soup with kimchi, spicy seafood soup, and the half and half wings. Portions were big and all the food was delicious!! Really hit the spot on a rainy day. Also, our servers were very nice and gave excellent suggestions based on our tastes. We arrived at opening for dinner at 5pm and it was quite busy by 6pm on a Saturday. Added to my list of local favorites!
I went there one night with my friend Susan and I have to say, the bossam was exquisitely Korean and was incredibly delicious! We also ordered Korean stew and galbi and they were all very good. I’ve had other Korean foods in lynwood area, but they’re not that great, it doesn’t have the Korean authentic flavor and so glad I went there and had a great time, we even tipped alot for the great food! I highly recommend bossam though

Atomasphere is really make you feel you are in Korea. Food is pretty good and has good service. The service can be slow , so make sure you get plenty of time to enjoy the food here.
Worst experience ever with the staff. Ended up walk out right after we ordered.
Before watching the movie, we decided to try the chicken at Gilson Korean restaurant. The golden, saucy chicken and the seafood tofu soup were so delicious! We didn’t realize the portions would be so big, totally worth it for the leftovers. The server was very nice, and even though he was the only one working, he was quick and easy to communicate with. The place has a great vibe, and we were glad to get a non-KBBQ table, so we didn’t leave smelling like food. We loved it, such a great find!
I forgot to capture everything we try to rush for only one hour before we watch a movie.

I get wings here every week. They are consistent, and the best wings I've ever had. Been in the food industry a long time, as well as I love going out to eat. It was just a coincidence I got wings here the first time, however it has become our favorite spot.
