One of the most authentic Korean dishes I've ever had. Great customer service, polite and friendly. The food options are decent, and very flavourful. It's also decently priced.
Recommend!!!
I wish people gave them honest reviews.
I used to go there a long time ago, at the time food was very good until the owner has changed. Everything changed. After a long time, I wanted to try this restaurant again.
Not satisfied with the food and services I had. Foods were actually overpriced and not good. I liked they have many different kind of side dishes. I just feel disappointed. Never gonna come back again!!!!
The food is so good. Fresh and delicious. The service goes above and beyond. Parking can be tricky if you come in from the front but if you go around behind the building there is ample parking.
I highly recommend the 3 fish and the kimchi pork with tofu!
It was a little slow (Thursday Night) but the staff was super attentive and took great care checking if we needed anything.
Terrible food. The ginseng soup (40!) tasted like the kind that is heated up from a bag and the kimchi is the worst i have ever tasted. The marinated radish from the side dish probably sat out for way too long because I ended up having stomach cramps. I was going to tip zero because the waiter did not fill my water even once and just ignored us - unless it was to ask us how the food was, which we couldn’t even give a straight answer because it was bad. Can you imagine the audacity to charge mandatory 18% tips?
Edit: after reading recent reviews - it look like the kitchen staff is new and old picture of Bachans don’t look the same. Which sane Korean person would serve cut up hot dog wieners as a side dish?
The blandest soondubu I’ve ever had. Banchan was great, but that’s about it. Got 4 different things and wasn’t impressed with any of them.
Old school Korean restaurant vibe that has food tasting like a home cooked meal in the best way possible. One of my favorite Korean dining experiences in recent memory. Highly recommend

After owners changed food quality went down, and I could taste the difference immediately. Still lovely service and hough
Delicious every day of the week. Seriously, I could eat here every single day of the week and be perfectly happy. Everything is consistently delicious. I've had the bibimbap and the tofu soup, and both are absolutely incredible. The flavors are so authentic and satisfying. If only I had two stomachs, I'd order both every single time – they're that good!
Service is also very good. Only downside is, they limit the number of small dish refills to just once, for 5 dishes. It's really a bummer, since each of their side dishes are so amazing. I do wish they increased that limit.
If I had only two meals in Edmonds, I would eat at Hosoonyi twice. If I had three meals? Well... I might decide to branch out at that point :P

I saw some reviews about this restaurant. And I went there today. Not satisfied with the food and services I had. It is cold inside. Foods we ordered are three dishes include seafood pancake, beef rid and toufu soup. They did provide side dishes. I just feel disappointed as my gut telling me not good. I went back home and my stomach ached. I have to rush to bathroom due to discomfort on the stomach. Not sure if the side dishes they provided were contaminated or from other dishes we ordered. My first time and last time lol.
The food is the very small portion, expensive, and not tasty. The waitress charged us the gratitude tips even though we were five people.
Omg so delicious! We did the Galbi and Kimchi Jigae soup. The bonchon was so fun too! Fast service and fair pricing for what you get. Very cozy restaurant tucked away in Edmonds.
Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend trying when you are in the area.
