Come for margaritas only. The food meh. Funky flavors. Dinner for (4) --2 kids , (2) adults. There wasn't one plate anyone thought we'd come back for. Service was average. Too many reasons to not come back to list. Chips and salsa you have to pay for, however we all liked it: warm chips; not-to-hot salsa. Chicken nuggets were inedible-- our kids would eat almost also any, ranch was the same. Again, funky flavors. Cotija cheese was yummy. Makes me miss skippers. #edmonds

Had lunch here on Sunday and it was the worst experience I've had in a restaurant in a long time. The food was bad and the service even worse. We both ordered water, it never came. Our tacos were served cold after an extraordinary long wait. The waitress offered to microwave them to heat them up which we politely declined. The side of beans were cold, the corn was watery. We were never offered refills in our ice teas. Had to track down a different waiter to get refills and our check. For the first time in nearly 20 years I left no tip. There are plenty of good restaurants to go to in Edmonds, we won't be back.

If I could give this restaurant zero star review I would. Used to be great...I have been there approx 5 time. Initially great, good then next 3 visits and today TERRIBLE! My food was cold when brought to table and server just shrugged it off.. said sorry it took so. long to get the food... So our food was bad and SERVICE. was nonexistent...TERRIBLE. Lots of better places to eat...give this one a pass

Okay, so this was a third try. The first two were when Kahlo's first opened and were disappointing. I decided to give them a try again. Arrived at the hostess station, staff walked by like I wasn't there. Ordered their "signature" margaritas, time for a new recipe. Got their chicken enchiladas with vegetables and corn sides. The enchiladas arrived slightly warm, the vegetables were nothing more than wilted and steamed. The corn was good. Service throughout was off putting. They actually had a video game replay on the TV and when I asked if something else could be shown the woman said, we only have YouTube! In a rude manner. If that's the case, remove the TVs. The entire experience was terrible and their prices reflect their premium location. There are many fantastic restaurants in Edmonds. Choose another and wait for Kahlos to fail and be replaced with something that is worth eating at. It's a shame. They did a nice job with the interior and it looks nice. Management, staff and food all fell waaay short of expectations.

Great ambiance! Love the decoration and also the live music that's played here over the weekends. Mainly have had drinks here and their margaritas are delicious! Service has been great, as well!

AMAZING! Food, atmosphere, service and interior design were all amazing. I had the chicken burrito, with sour cream and guacamole- amazing, tender, shredded chicken with black beans and rice. The burrito was huge AND I only left about a bite and half because it was SO good. It was a little slow- no idea why. Not only was the food great, the staff was friendly and attentive! Great view of the sound and mountains. Definitely a 10/10 would recommend experience. PS. My girl loved the corn and wouldn't stop raving about it (to no one's chagrin)

Had a wonderful lunch with my family here the other day. The guacamole was fabulous, and the tortillas were made with authentic ingredients with good flavors. The seafood enchalada was heavenly with fresh seafood and a great depth of flavors. We will be back.

The service was awful, the food was cold, and to top it off there were ants in the tortilla baskets.

Food is terrible. $20 calamari is the worst We have ever had. Don’t waste your money. For people that are dairy free they do not have an alternative. All their sauces are all mixed with cream.

Overall, this was a really poor experience. I was here on a Saturday between 2 and 3 PM, which would seem like a slower time for the restaurant between lunch and dinner. When we arrived, the restaurant was about half full and never really exceeded that amount of occupancy while we dined. It took about 10 minutes to be seated because nobody was really hosting up front and nobody acknowledged the people waiting for large gaps of time. Then it took about 20 minutes to get water and place our order (which we did as soon as someone came over). Then it took about 10 minutes to get the chips and salsa we ordered, which we demolished in about half the time it took to get the food. The salsa was really bland with no spice or saltiness. I honestly prefer the jarred salsas at the grocery store over this salsa. It then took about 45 minutes to an hour to get the food we ordered. We had each ordered tacos, which were very basic. Meat, cheese, and pickled onions apparently take 45+ minutes for them to prep. The food was fine, but also very generic with a side of Mexican corn (from a can) and some lukewarm limp fries. While we were eating, we witnessed people wait at the front for upwards of ten minutes because there would be large gaps of time where nobody was even going near the front. Normally, I'd excuse this service as understaffing is common right now. However, based on the amount of servers just standing around compared to the amount of customers, they seemingly had about 1 person per two tables. The wait staff just never came around to check on anyone. Luckily, I was able to pay via phone using a QR code but I did witness people waiting to pay with checks on their tables for upwards of 15 minutes. It got to the point that as people were leaving, they were warning new diners that they shouldn't eat here unless they have 2 hours to get any food. It was almost comical because we also saw one of the servers take about 15 minutes to make one margarita behind the bar!

First and foremost the nachos that we ordered and waited 50min for were soggy and stale it looks like they were left and forgotten for atleast 30min. The steak fajitas had 2cm of oil on the pan and came with only 3 small tortillas. The customers sitting on the table next to us also waited 50min for their food and complained to the manager because the server was being rude( the server told the customer loudly that this is a restaurant not mcdonalds thats why the wait is long) poor customer service and foos preparation.

Not sure what’s happening there but the food is atrocious. The ceviche isn’t even ceviche. The pico de gallo is pale. The nachos are cold.

Very modern design, lots of glass. Very convenient location next to the Edmonds ferry dock. Good food overall, but I found the pozole very salty. Service was prompt and mostly polite but the head waitperson got diners' attention by tapping their arms, which bothered another diner enough to complain about it.Parking: The restaurant's own parking space is limited but there's a former supermarket lot nearby with plenty of space. I ordered food on the ferry line, and they rushed it out for me, and I made it. Great service!
