Kazoku in Edmonds is one of the best dinners we have had in a long time! Their uni was an amazing experience! The sushi was all very distinct and delicious. We enjoyed the yuzu beer which paired well with our saba shioyaki but the egg custard soup was the crown jewel!!! Oh the silky texture and delicate flavor was my most favorite. The service and chefs were a joy, we talked of sumo and laughed at each others jokes as we tried their absolutely spot on reccomendations.Thank you Chef Bobby, Chef Robert and Chef Stevan! Thank you Garret, Nancy and Sumin <3 it was a pleasure to top it off with red bean mochi to go!!

If I can give half a star, I think 4.5 star better reflect their quality and service. The sushi are of top freshness and umami. The tempura shirmps are big and tempura veggies are sweet n crispy. We like all their rolls and salad, but the miso soup is slightly salty, I think this can be adjusted easily. Some other dishes are attractive and we will come and try later. We visited on a very busy Friday night, with full house guest, it's nice we made reservation and get seated very soon. I konw some guests queuing an hour for dinner. My server maybe new to business, we waited a while for him to take order and tea is serving a bit slow, so we seek the help of another server. I can understand and hope he will improve later. I believe this will be one of the popular restaurant in Edmonds area.

The nacho sushi, takoyaki, spicy tuna, spider roll were all excellent. We got served quickly and kindly. Overall amazing experience. Better food than in Japan proper. Came for the late happy hour (8pm - close).

Overall the vibe is nice but it’s def not 4.6. Slow, expensive and not really tasty.

This is one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever had! When you come be sure to order the Tako Taki for an appetizer. SO SO good! You would also be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t order sashimi Toro. Literally melts in your mouth. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! The staff was so kind and attentive from the moment I walked into the door.

It's under new management recently. Given the quality and amount, I am disappointed. I ordered $38 sushi set with 8 pc sushi and 4 pc roll. Not worth it. Former management offered a better deal. Won't be going back.

This place is incredible! Food is fresh and delicious. Must try the fish liver, it's the most delicate I've ever tried.

As a sushi lover, I was so happy about the quality of seafood of the three rolls I tried. I went out of my comfort zone and tried a dish called "chawanmushi" and it was so good! The staff were friendly and knowledgable and the restaurant had a warm vibe. I will return and bring others!

This is a top notch spot for sushi in Edmonds! I came here with a friend on Friday evening around 5 pm and we were seated promptly. We tried different rolls and nigiri, including the cherished sushi set, Stevan roll, and others. I don't have any complaints, sushi was fresh and tasty. The service was also top notch too! Come early on a weekend evening; by the time we left there was definitely wait outside.

Just ate here for the first time. Apparently just opened 8 months and a more limited sushi menu than am used to but what they make is very tasty. Talked with all three behind the bar and the menu changes apparently fairly regular so check for updates. Very friendly staff and can likely get an orientation on sumo by the sushi chef. Will be back to try out the rest of the menu!
