Ciders are fantastic, papas phenomenal, and you have to try the pork belly tacos ???. Service was flawless.

Wow! It’s not often a place goes above and beyond like this. The beer selection is out of this world, and the food? Pure, home-cooked perfection. Get ready for a masterclass—Venus knows her beer. Just sit back, soak it in, and let her work her magic. You’ll leave with a whole new appreciation for spots like this. It’s a true hidden gem!

Great little spot. Stopped in and was not disappointed. The craft beers my wife and I ordered were some we had never had which is always a plus for us. The owners run it in the kitchen and the front end. Food is almost entirely scratch made. Delicious home.ade salsas to go along with our very good beef, pork and salmon tacos we tried. Definitely worth your time to check out.

Always a good rotation of beers on tap and not just from nearby breweries but from across WA and OR. Food is always tasty too.

Very polite staff. The atmosphere was good, just a smidge too modern for me personally. But still good. And the food? Holy goodness. The food was immaculate.

Good drink selections! But the arepa with cheese was burned, and the Cuban tasted like the gas it was cooked with, we will not be ordering food from here again

Food is top notch. I had the ginger tofu sandwich and the fry bread. Both were delicious and looking forward to returning soon.

A small cute place to grab lunch on the main street of Edmonds. I thought it had a lot of promise but was ultimately somewhat disappointed by the food. We had the arepa, rockfish sandwich, and the strawberry vanilla house soda. It all tasted good, but just lacked that extra punch in flavor or texture to make it memorable. The rockfish did taste tender and fresh, but I felt like there weren't enough different tastes in the sandwich and/or things weren't seasoned enough; the soda felt sweet without the actual flavors. I think this is still a growing business and I do wish them the best and would be open to trying again!

Very relaxed place to get a great sandwich and a beer. Vegan options are well-marked. I had the GINGER GLAZED TOFU sandwich and us was so yummy and very filling!

I was so excited to go here and grab a beer while my kids got Frozen yogurt from their favorite place next store. This was my first time going here. I grabbed a beer and sat outside, as you can see in the picture. My kids joined me with their frozen yogurt and we got a little too hot sitting outside, so we went inside to Maize and Barley (the bar tender told us the kids can sit anywhere on the property just not on the bar). Before we could even sit down the owner came-up to me and told me that they couldn't have the frozen yogurt on the property anywhere. Meanwhile there was literally small kids eating frozen yogurt at an outside table with their family, so I thought she just meant not inside, so we went back outside. She followed us and told us they could not have the yogurt anywhere on the property (AND SHE WAS NOT NICE ABOUT IT). When I pointed to the other kids, she said since my kids were older (My kids are 10 and 13) and can feed themselves, they can just sit over at the frozen yogurt place themselves. I was absolutely shocked. She was rude and seemed annoyed we were even there!

I would be understanding if Maize and Barley offered ice cream or a similar food item that they want you to purchase there instead of the frozen yogurt place but they don't and this owner now has decided to allow small children to eat Frozen yogurt on her property but not older children and why does any of this matter as long as we are ordering BEER!

IF THEIR POLICY IS NO OUTSIDE FOOD - Why would you allow to have small children bring in outside food or Frozen Yogurt but not older kids? Seems like if that is your policy, it shouldn't be allowed, period. Makes no sense! I think their business priorities are kind of messed-up...as long as customers are buying beer, who cares!

Needless to say, I got out of there as quickly as possible and the beer wasn't even that good. I will never return, what a disappointment. Seems when you are next-door to a frozen yogurt place, you should be more flexible!

I do highly recommend Salish Brewery all the staff and the owner are incredibly nice and he allows any ice cream to be brought on the property because he doesn't sell any ice cream there!

Great bread, smoked/pickled foods, and beer. The rotating menu in my experience always has vegetarian friendly options, and a solid range of beers to choose from. The owners/staff seem to put a lot of thought into the rotating menu, including the “V” items. Hope this place stays around a long time.

Vegetarian options: Rotating menu that in my experience has always had a solid vegetarian option(s). Due to the variety visit-to-visit and quality of the food, I personally find it to be one of the best options as someone who does not eat meat.
