It’s small town diner food, don’t go expecting five star Michelin experience. We love it and it is a tradition to go with our kiddos on a regular basis for breakfast. They have great kid options that always leave the kids full and full of syrup, make a good scramble - I get the spicy sausage one, cafe coffee, and great biscuits and gravy. A locals place through and through, family owned, lots of local kids on staff. We are big fans and recommend to everyone we talk with, just go in with the right expectations and get in early because it does fill up.

Comfort food served in a comfortable place. Plenty of parking as well.

The food was okay. Took about 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. The hostess looked insulted that we were there for breakfast and never actually spoke to us. We sat and ordered food, and the food took a long time to come out (about an hour). I'm not sure if they were severely understaffed, but it was not that busy in the restraunt. We will not be coming back

I enjoyed the food but I didn't much appreciate the service. I was provided an unwashed cup of water with a lipstick mark on the edge of it. When I asked for tea, all I received was a tea bag and a jug of hot water but no mug to pour it into, nor were there any handles on the jug or a spout. How was I supposed to pick it up if it's piping hot without handles? The server wound up pouring hot water into my mug later with her own kettle and didn't seem to register the problem, yet offered me that solution.

Food was just fine. The syrup seemed to be corn syrup or some cheap maple syrup. I wasn't impressed by it but it was good enough. Pancakes weren't anything special. Eggs were cooked just fine. I'd eat it again but I don't think I'll be returning. Unwashed cups are a safety hazard.

I can forgive the dust on the ceiling pendants and the slightly uncomfortable layout of the tables, but the service is driving me away. I'd rate this maybe 2.5 stars. I understand this is a spot where the retired population of Edmonds gathers for affordable breakfast and lunch, and I wouldn't want my review to remove that for them, however, cleanliness is important. Just make a couple simple safety changes and replace the handleless jug with a real tea pot. If tea is on the menu, accommodate it accordingly.

Traditional pancake house
Server was AMAZING! She took care of all guests by herself.

The food is pretty good. The service leaves you never wanting to come back. Zero communication when they have issues, they do not check in, you are left to sit at your table to figure things out and wait for a VERY long time. It has potential.

Food was good, service was friendly and fast. The dining area is large so pretty loud when busy. The original pancakes are just the ticket.
