I came in here excited to use my gift card for this place, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Spent over $20 on 3 small drinks with no flavor. I am a huge coffee drinker, I appreciate and try to always choose local shops (not Starbucks) for multiple reasons, one being the flavor and quality of coffee. I wanted to at least taste the espresso in my drink, but I only tasted milk.. I didn’t see anything vegan on their menu so I asked the person at the register and they told me they didn’t have vegan food, but I could remove some items from some of the foods to make them dairy-free or without eggs. The atmosphere felt very crowded because it is a smaller shop and all the tables are very close to eachother. (Keeping in mind I did go on the weekend). Parking was also a hassle, which isn’t fully in their control because they only offer 2 spots from what I saw and the rest is street parking in a busy area. Overall, the person at the register was very friendly and customers seem to love their food. But personally I won’t be going back because of this experience. If you don’t have dietary restrictions and are going for the food it seems promising because everyone seemed to like their food
Dietary restrictions: No vegan food options

Small selection. Small inside. Not many tables. Has patio for overflow. 4 tables inside a tent for more warmth but patio was chilly

Cool spot for tourists… ruined for locals. Service is very low. The people working are in their own world. Don’t forget you’re getting paid to serve the community, you are not waiting to receive a tip to serve… If somebody is standing waiting for their order for >5 minutes past when it should be ready you should acknowledge them… The culture and attitude needs to change.

It was alright. The potatoes were either overcooked or undercooked. My wife's eggs were undercooked. Probably won't return. Staff seemed nice

I met a few friends here for brunch two days ago and had the worst customer service experience of my life. I ordered for both a piggyback hash for a friend and a tofu scramble for myself. When the server came out, she brought a piggyback hash with tofu scramble subbed for the eggs. We explained this was NOT what I had ordered, that it was supposed to be two separate dishes, went over the order in detail with two employees. They said they would get this corrected, but would need to enter these as new orders which would take awhile. Okay, fine, I understand misunderstandings/mistakes happen. 20+ minutes later, another server comes out with the same incorrect order. When I spoke up, she became combative and said "I spoke with the barrista and she said this was the order and you only paid for this, so that's all we can bring you." We rehashed what had happened, and she was argumentative and accusatory (to be clear, I would have happily paid for the additional entree if that's what they wanted; I did not realize $32 only covered one entree, a canned drink, and tip; I was not able to wait in line in the pouring rain for another 30 minutes to place a whole new order). I finally just told the woman I would get a meal elsewhere and wished her a good day. My friend ate the dish she had not wanted, and I went hungry. Very demeaning and disappointing experience.

Order for here, got a to go cup at kid's temperature. Went back, and they said that they didn't have any in that size. Well, say something about then! Also, I don't mind paying $9 for a quiche, but let's raise it to $10 or $11, and not make it a kid's size

If there was an international olympics of bad service this place would win a gold metal every time. There's actually a sign at the entrance informing people that the service is slow. Everybody working there does their best to make sure that that warning is fulfilled.
People stare at the menu on the wall and then get up to the order counter and stand there and chat for an unbelievable time.
Even so their cinnamon rolls are the best in the area and coffee refills are free. The seating is cozy and the place is very inviting. It's on my list but I go up the street if there's any more than two people in line.

The apathy of the people who work here is palpable. They don't smile at you, there is no rush to help people when there is a line out the door, the food takes WAY too long and the portions are small for what you get. But mostly, it's the horrible customer service that keeps me away from what could be a great little restaurant. I wish they would do better.

Food is quite good. I don't eat out much, but the few times I've eaten out at this place has never disappointed. Their coffee is great too. It has outdoor and indoor seating with heated areas outdoors for the colder months. They sell some baked goods, though I can't really say how good they taste since I've never ordered them. If you're like me who's interested in buying an establishment's coffee beans, they sell those here too, as well as merch.
Parking: They don't have a parking lot, but it's not too hard to find parking in the surrounding area in downtown Edmonds.

Went here with my family of 4 to get some drinks and breakfast. The food was good but honestly just Okay. The coffees and italian soda were terrible. I don’t recommend stopping here for your daily coffee because it wasn’t good and had barely any flavor or none at all. Just tasted like straight up coffee with milk, and plain soda. It’s also extremely overpriced and overwhelmingly crowded.

It would be nice to have more room, but besides that, it's cozy and the food is good! The baristas and cooks are kind too
