I've always enjoyed coming into the Edmonds Santa Fe Mexican Restaurant location, as well as I have been able to check out a couple of their other locations, and I have never had a bad dinner there. Especially the Carne Asada. Just a little side note, I didn't even know you could order that cooked anything less than the way it normally came - usually medium well - until about two years ago when I overheard someone else ordering it medium rare, the way I like steak. And ever since I learned that, it is even better, with some steak juices, the way I like it. Silly me for never even thinking that, but sometimes the obvious is overlooked. Keep up the great work Santa Fe!

Rubbish people serving customers have never discriminated against me like in this place

This place was great! Not only with just the service but the atmosphere and some of the food options as well! If you want to go as a family and have some good food I recommend the carne asada fajita but a warning up ahead is that it’s pricy! That one dish was 32 bucks! I still loved it and it had amazing atmosphere with the servers being so kind.

Kid-friendliness: It’s welcoming for all ages! The servers will make the kids comfortable at this place giving them a nice feeling about where they should eat next!

Really disappointing experience. The server didn’t listen to us, we had to request items multiple times. Our food came out in 5 minutes after ordering, we hadn’t even received our drinks yet. The Mango margarita tasted like drinking straight mango juice. We frequent the Richmond Beach location which is much friendlier and they take their time, pacing out drinks and food.

I can say whole-heartedly this was the worst food we have ever eaten. We were amazed that this place gets to exist and there was actual customers inside. Like is it front for something else? Are we in a simulation? Are they delusional?

Please somebody, anybody, reassure me that you don’t truly think this is Mexican food, Tex-Mex, or even mediocre white-wash Mexican food…the genre of this food is inedible.

Great food, great service. Very hip and swaggy place to see and be seen. Part of Edmonds eclectic downtown food scene.

One of the rudest and least hospitable hostess experiences we’ve ever encountered. Immediately left due to the experience. Too many amazing restaurants in Edmonds to deal with that leave of disrespect.

Food was descent. Could have been good. Mine was OKish but others in my company had good dishes..

The dish I ordered (chicken breast on rice with salsa sauce with veggies) was little tangy. Veggies are hot grilled. Felt raw. Corn tortillas were not good as well. Felt frozen once, they cooked. It was little hard few minutes we remove from box.

Place was small and felt congested for 6 people.

Parking is little difficult to find.

Best Mexican restaurant in Edmonds, the waitresses. And bar staff, everyone is super cool and they have a low turnover. So you get to know people sitting is a little tight.

This restaurant was incredible! Excellent service and my ribeye fajitas were DIVINE! The owner even introduced himself and helped my family feel at home. It was truly a wonderful dining experience.

We arrived on Friday at around 1 pm. Despite being a small place, it wasn’t busy. Our server greeted us and took our drink order promptly. With some time to spare before our next adventure at sea, we decided to try the dinner menu, which offered dishes not available at lunch. We were particularly interested in the “pollo en mole” – which was satisfying and delicious. However, when we asked about the region that inspired the mole, our server couldn’t provide an answer.

We ordered tacos de carne asada, which were great, and enchiladas, opting to try one of each: chicken, carnitas (pork), and beef. The sauce used for the enchiladas was a light guajillo spice sauce. Unfortunately, they used ground beef instead of braised beef, which I always prefer. All dishes were accompanied by fresh sliced iceberg lettuce, pico de gallo, rice, and refried beans.

Overall, the food portions were very generous. The rice was great, though the refried beans were just okay. For dessert, we had flan and churros, which were also fine.

Fun place for fusion/tex-mex. Everything we had was delicious, server was great. The chipotle chicken was one of the most flavorful dishes I've ever had. The steak fajitas were also on point.

Vegetarian options: Has some options but is not extensive, most would be in the beans and bell pepper category.

Parking: It is downtown edmonds, so time dependent. You can get a spot within 500 feet, but it's busy.

Kid-friendliness: Seems like a place you can bring kids, but the atmosphere might be more adult centric.
