The entire process from tasting the food to the execution on the big day was such a breeze. I still think about the food and drinks that we had at our wedding. All of our guests raved about it! Special shout out to the tuna poke tacos because those were definitely a hit. The waiting staff was great as well and they made it seem like we were in a 5 star restaurant. The bartenders were also super nice. The chef was really sweet and ended up grabbing us some more appetizers when we had our alone time to eat and take in the day. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone!

We hired Shooby Doo to cater our 90 person wedding reception at the Edmonds Waterfront Center. My wife and I toured EWC and fell completely in love with the picturesque location. We were informed that the Edmonds Waterfront Center has an exclusive partnership with Shooby Doo Catering. We had two tastings with Shooby Doo. Despite seeing red flags with the menu, my wife and I pushed forward with the Edmonds Waterfront Center because we fell in love with the venue.Shooby Doo Catering left a lot to be desired. The bread was stale, the chicken tikka masala was bone dry, the salmon was average, and the food wasn’t hot. To spend $19,497.21 on food that was forgettable, left both of our families frustrated. (They ended up refunding us $994.50)Since Shooby Doo was the only option for catering we felt trapped, so we prioritized the event space over the food. In retrospect, we realized we wouldn’t have had the reception at the Edmonds Waterfront Center due to the exclusive partnership with Shooby Doo.We served roughly the same amount of people for our rehearsal dinner with a private caterer who charged under $5,000. There are hundreds of small businesses in Snohomish county who are hungry to prove themselves and show off their culinary excellence. We understand Edmonds Waterfront Center has an exclusive partnership with Shooby Doo Catering. This monopoly doesn’t provide any urgency and thus results in complacency. Shooby Doo caterered our 95 person wedding in July of 2022 and when I tell you that it was the best meal we’ve ever had at a wedding, I sincerely mean it. Given I was the bride, you might be questioning my ability to make an impartial judgement on my wedding day, but almost every single one of our 95 guests commented on how outstanding every single part of the meal was. We had a family style meal that was just so elevated in the way it was played, served, prepared, etc. that it felt like you were dining at a 5-star restaurant. We were so happy with went with Shooby Doo for our wedding caterer! We worked with Ariana who was so helpful with guiding us through the whole process and super easy to communicate with. Shooby Doo helped us create an all-vegetarian menu for our wedding and was really flexible and helpful with finding a menu that would appeal to all our guests. They were very careful with tracking dietary restrictions and helped accommodate several guests with celiac by providing gluten free bread and adjusting some menu items to make them gluten free. We got so many compliments on the food from vegetarian and carnivore guests alike. Shooby Doo does a great job and we would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I'm still dreaming about those ahi poke tacos and risotto bites!They are a little pricier compared to some of the other caterers we looked at, BUT, their food really is top-notch, the service is top-notch, *and* they provide alcohol & bartenders, which not all wedding caterers do, and which really helped make the day stress-free. We'd gladly go with them again.

The menu options were so varied it was fun to taste and choose, our selections were delicious and the presentation was lovely. Their events staff assists with coordination of all details, clearly and quickly communicating back/forth. When we began our search for a caterer, we found Shooby Doo Catering, tried one meal with them, and decided we didn't need to look anywhere else.Their food is a delicate fusion of Asian and American cuisine and they manage to blend beautiful flavors together without making their food overly salty or overwhelming. While all the food was amazing, I have to point out a few items that we ordered. They have a large menu but they were willing to customize the menu for us.Ahi Poke Taco | Shoyu sesame marinated sushi grade ahi tuna, Asian spicy slaw, crispy wonton shell, sriracha lime kewpie mayo, micro cilantro.This appetizer was AMAZING. I had it at their partner restaurant, Bar Dojo, and knew it would be a hit. Several guests consumed 3-4 of these before the meal came out.Seared Scallops | jumbo U-10 scallops, caramelized, served with a lemon burre blanc*These scallops were huge and perfectly seasoned. They were handled with class and the chefs made sure that none of them were overcooked and rubbery. Absolute perfection.Braised Pork Belly (GF, DF) | all-natural pork belly in honey lemon hoisin glaze, served with fresh scallions and pickled cucumberWhen we picked this dish, we didn't know what to expect. Surprisingly about a third of our guests chose this dish over braised beef and scallops and my brother, who tried all the plates, chose this as his favorite. The pork belly was as smooth as butter and well balanced with the scallions and pickled cucumber.You cannot go wrong with if you go with them. Ariana, who I communicated with, went above and beyond and made sure everything went smoothly leading up to the event. You will not be disappointed!

There food was all the rage at the wedding and talked about by our guest even a month after. My wife and I still dream about the bacon wrapped dates. The staff was incredible and were really dialed in through the whole process. If you're worried about making the right choice on catering, then just make it easy and go with Shooby Doo. You won't regret it!
