Ordered knee cartilage of bone soup, handmade dumplings, spicy beef soup, and mixed meat plate. Portions are smaller than average so dishes seem more expensive by comparison. However this is about quality over quantity, as everything they make here is top tier. Definitely recommend the dumplings and the ox bone soup.

You know a Korean food place is good when the Korean ajummas and ajussis pull up. This is a lovely little place in Edmonds that serves a hearty meal that tastes like home. I really love their Seolleong tang (Korean beef bone soup). They allow you to adjust the saltiness level to your own liking (just don't forget to put salt in because they come unseasoned!) and the sauce that goes with the meat is also light and tasty. The mandus (Korean dumplings) were soooooo big and filling. 100% recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

Great authentic food, great service, love the Seolleongtang here. Jenny was the best waitress you could ask for!

Really feel like I've found a hidden gem for comfort food on a chilly (probably rainy) Seattle day. My go-to is the beef soup with rice noodles, adding a couple of spoons of salt. The soup is amazingly rich and umami without having too much sodium. Sides are also yummy and the waitstaff is kind!

2/24/2024, Come back again for their Seolleong Tang with my boyfriend's sister and niece. Saturday late lunch after 1:00pm, not crowded at all, as soon as we walk in, got seated right away! We ordered three Seolleong Tang with flank meat, mixed meat and tongue, steamed mundo and rice cake and dumpling soup. It's my bf's sister and niece first time trying this restaurant and they loved the food! The soup has great flavor, eat it with their Kim chee and radish ban Chan helps enhance the flavor to a different level. I would love to ask everyone who has not try yet to give it a try! You will find it very satisfying! Especially during rainy stormy day!! To owner and his family, please keep up the excellent job and I will be back soon!!

Excellent beef soup made with real ingredients and huge homemade dumplings perfectly matched up with their out of this world kimchi! Yummy!!! The rice cake treat was so sweet of the owners, thank you! Such friendly and kind place to warm up your soul! Best korean food in town for sure!

Came here for the first time with my friend who comes here often and i am obsessed. Definitely coming back soon. I ordered the mixed Seolleongtang and it was so deep in flavor. We also enjoyed some dumplings and it was so yummy. Amazing service as well!

Nice and homey, great acommodating staff, and of course the food. The main dish beef broth comes in and you have salt and pepper to season but the broth has a almost bone milky flavor profile that would put most ramens to shame. Would definetly recommend this to anyone that likes a savory soup experience. Also amazing as a hangover food cure

Folks, its not normal for a korean restaurant to "charge you" extra for kimchi/kakkdugi (aka banchan). The new owner seems to only care about tips even tho theres no service. Theres a new sullungtang place that recently opened up near highway 99 called jangan sullungtang. They have better food and service in case anyone is looking for a place to eat sullungtang. They also obviously dont charge you extra for kimchi/kakkdugi.
