My wife randomly stopped in on her way to Seattle from Spokane. She came home and ranted and raved on their sandwiches. So we made a conscious decision to stop there on a recent trip to the wslest side. It did not disappoint! We shared a turkey club and it was one of the best I ever had. Owners were super nice. We plan to stop again on our way back. I go to try me a Philly now. Highly recommend

My wife and I did a DoorDash delivery from 509 Philly Stop. When my wife got the delivery she came out and said, “it’s quiet in there and they were REALLY nice”. So we went back for lunch. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by Maricar and Leo. They were extremely friendly and inviting. Maricar warned us that Leo is a diehard Eagles fan and pointed out the decor (it would look much better in silver and blue 😉). We ordered...

I grew up in Pittsburgh PA and Philadelphians and Portuguese may disagree on lots — sports team, politics, who has more humidity — But we all agree the most important part of a Hoagie, or grinder is the BREAD.
It is not what Seattle’s calls French bread. It is certainly not what is sold in the store as a hoagie bun. And it does not have sour dough in it.
