The food was excellent. A few things kept me from giving 5 stars. For a place that specializes in bourbons, whiskey and scotch, the pour of my old fashion was very short. I would also expect a large ice cube which is pretty standard in an upscale restaurant. My wife ordered a martini and asked for 3 blue cheese olives….$2 per olive but we didn’t know that until we got the bill. Also charging for fry sauce was unexpected. Not a huge deal but the server...
Today our first time trying was amazing. Tyler our server provided great service. He recommended drinks we asked about on the drink menu, even offered couple samples of riesling wines available. He was helpful with our food choices and our meals were on point. Kudos also to the cook in the kitchen. We are glad we gave this a try, we enjoyed it very much. Would highly recommend The Huntsman Tavern and will definitely be back to try more amazing items.
Service is a bit slow, especially when empty but the ambiance of the place is nice. Nice display, but makes it hard for certain servers to find specific bottles if they're not placed on the rack properly. Would have ordered something off the menu, but it seemed that the staff were not attentive enough to take an order in a timely manner with how empty the place was.
