This restaurant was a wonderful place to host a post concert get together with performers. All members of our party enjoyed the food immensely. I had the tuna entree, and it was delicious, and beautifully plated. The servers were personable and it was great to interact with them. When I knocked my lemonade over, shattering the glass and spilling lemonade everywhere, they quickly cleaned it up and brought me a new glass (one that was less spillable)… without a single complaint. The vibe of the restaurant is modern and cool.

The Pearl bar and grill looks classy and elegant. The service was good. The food, on the other hand, needs some help. We ordered the artichoke dip, which was lacking any type of flavor and was scalding hot, as I'm certain it was just scooped into a bowl and microwaved. We ordered the blue tenderloin. The only thing it had going for it was that it actually had been prepared to a perfect medium rare. The problem was it wasn't a tenderloin perhaps the absolute worst cut of tenderloin available because it ate like a sirloin, very tough and chewy, void of any flavor and sitting on some soggy/pasty potato cakes, the broccolini was sour. This was one of the worst steak dinners I've experienced in a while. Save yourself the headache, order something else, or go elsewhere if you want a good steak.
To be fair the service wasn't the best. But when we got there it was empty. Within 10 minutes it was packed. One waitress and she did the best she could under the circumstances. Very friendly. We had 2 cheesesteak sandwiches and 1Pearl BLAT. The cheesesteak sandwiches were really spicy hot. My nephew loved his and my husband love his but wished he would of left out the jalapeños. I didn't care for the BLAT. We will come back and try this place again.

Table and chair were disturbingly sticky. The waiter couldn't get the menu off the table because it was stuck.
Food did not match menu description, and mine was inedible (everyone agreed). The waiter didn't offer a replacement or comp, even after agreeing with me and the rest of the table about the quality of the food!
I gave The Pearl five stars for everything five months ago. We hosted an old family friend for dinner today and I'm so incredibly embarrassed to have taken them here.
Maybe there was a change in ownership or something? This wasn't just a bad night for the staff. I know that can happen. This was worse than that. The premises were gross, and that grunge takes a while to build up.
Maybe the cook never read the menu? How else could the food served be so different from the description?
Yeah. There are some really great little restaurants in Ellensburg, so don't bother with this one. It's not worth the gamble of whether the food will be good or your immune system can fight the ickiness.

OK restaurant with some interesting takes on traditional dishes like Mac & cheese, hummus & pita and risotto. Staff are friendly and they play nice music. Only criticism is that the food is very rich. The Malbec red wine was a good choice!
Dietary restrictions: If you don’t do well with rich foods then go with something simple like the hummus.

Don’t trust the reviews. Me and my wife traveled 3 hours to Ellensberg and wanted to have a nice night out. The reviews for this place made it out to be this incredible place, but our experience proved far from it. The tables were sticky and food was extremely overpriced, especially for its quality. Me and my partner got the Seasonal Soup and Tequila Mushrooms. The Mushrooms were extremely sour and severely undercooked and the soup was cold and just gross. For dessert we got the Horchata Bites and it was very trashy, just fried chunks thrown on gas station ice cream. Entrees were alright but nothing you couldn’t find elsewhere for a cheaper price and better quality. Service was good, but unfortunately everything else was just plain bad. Very disappointing.

Service was good. It's definitely a bar atmosphere. Loud and not enjoyable if looking for a quiet, relaxing dinner. Food was disappointing. Tortilla soup was cold and devoid of any flavor.

Absolutely horrible service by SHELBY R. She felt that I needed to be schooled in manners-which i did use. Proceeded her rant about being a firefighter and former military and that she demands respect when I told her kindly that I’m an adult and not to talk to me as if I was a child.
They had NO manager on sight and other waitress had no idea who was in charge that day
Food is average
Service was a crazy rant
Manager chose to do no follow up with our concerns/complaints. Obviously we will not be returning
And two toddlers at the table had to be exposed to her antics.
