Smokey's on Pearl Street Reviews
BBQ was pretty average overall—nothing amazing, but not terrible either. On the pricey side for what you get. The brisket leaned a bit dry, and the cornbread didn’t stand out. Food Was amazing. The train wreck is wonderful. Alot of food.
some of the best BBQ we have had in a long time!! Great service, friendly staff and excellent food. The brisket was so tender and meat fell off the ribs. The mac n cheese was some of the best we have had.

Smokey's on Pearl Street serves some of the best BBQ around, with tender brisket and falling-off-the-bone ribs. The mac n cheese is a highlight, and the onion rings, dirty rice, and gumbo are also fan favorites. The staff is friendly and the owner is super nice. The platter, which includes smoked chicken, brisket, ribs, mac n cheese, BBQ beans, and corn bread, is a great option for sharing. Visitors can enjoy live music on Friday evenings, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The sides, especially the collard greens and BBQ beans, are often praised as some of the best ever, with the beans described as possibly the best BBQ beans around. Portions are generous, and the food is flavorful, though some dishes may be a bit dry. Smokey's is a must-visit for BBQ lovers and those seeking a friendly environment with excellent service and tasty food.
