“On my way to Seaside, Oregon, I decided to stop by the Starbucks in Elma for a quick coffee break. It was a convenient stop along the route, and I was looking forward to a familiar pick-me-up.

My wife and I went inside, and although no one greeted us at first, she ordered a drink. They didn’t ask her what size she wanted, but they just gave her a large and charged her accordingly. It was a bit surprising, as we didn’t expect the default to be that size.

It did take a little while to get the drink, but the atmosphere was nice. The café had a relaxed, cozy vibe, and despite being busy, it was still a decent place to stop on the way.“
