About Rusty Tractor Restaurant

The Rusty Tractor Restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience with friendly staff and a kid-friendly atmosphere, showcasing various antiques and a kids' menu. The Eggs Benedict remains a highlight of their menu. Customers have enjoyed the cow pie biscuit, which was crumbly and soft, and they appreciated that the gravy came on the side. The food is described as good and delicious, with large portions all around. The fish and chips and the 2x4 breakfast for dinner are favorites, with many noting the sausage is really good. The liver and onions continue to impress diners. While the food is generally well-received, some reviewers have mentioned that it can be on the expensive side, particularly for items like freshly batter-dipped seafood, which they would expect at a location near the coast. Service is noted to be friendly and fairly quick, especially during busy times, though there are occasional mentions of slow order taking over the phone. The indoor decor, rich in country-themed items, adds to the ambiance, and the rusty old tractors outside provide an interesting sight. Overall, the Rusty Tractor is seen as a nice little spot off the highway where customers can enjoy their meal and the unique atmosphere.

I called the restaurant right away and they said they had it and would keep it. That was on a Wednesday. I went down around 200 miles round trip on a Sunday. They had her Mickey and the staff and the customers lol were so...read full review
Another place south of here in Centralia has the same interior decorator which is early farm tools and implements and a scattering of memorabilia from the past. We chose a half booth, half table combination at the back of the dining room and ordered a cheese omelette and a Kentucky Jack sandwich. Both were very good, serve quickly from the kitchen. Attentive service kept our coffee cups filled. The food was plentiful, restaurant was as clean as any we have been to on our trip...read full review
