Staff is amazing, if you like coffee I recommend my drink. Quad shot espresso, with 5 pumps of caramel, 5 pumps of vanilla, a half an inch of cream and caramel drizzle in a venti cup, iced with extra ice.

On my way to Seaside, Oregon, I decided to stop by the Starbucks in Elma for a quick coffee break. It was a convenient stop along the route, and I was looking forward to a familiar pick-me-up.

My wife and I went inside, and although no one greeted us at first, she ordered a drink. They didn’t ask her what size she wanted, but they just gave her a large and charged her accordingly. It was a bit surprising, as we didn’t expect the default to be that size.

Hours are confusing, it says their drive-through is open until 9pm, came around 8:40 on Friday and the drive through was closed. If I had known they’d be closed, I would’ve grabbed my coffee in Aberdeen before my long drive back to Pierce county, so that’s pretty disappointing.
