Enjoyed the fish tacos and a local blonde beer. Seasonal peach shortcake was delicious. Pricey lunch but good for a splurge.

Truly a special dinner at sunset. My wife had the ling cod, I had the chiopinno. Fantastic! The clamp chowder was spot on. And complemented with a couple old fashioned. Worth it!!

My family stopped in today after going out to Jetty Island and we were delighted with the service (Shawn was wonderful and on top of things), the food taste, portion, and quality, and the atmosphere. The views were lovely of the Puget sound. Would definitely return.

The food was good, especially the peach cheesecake. Two reasons they aren’t getting 5 stars, our server was friendly however it took a long time for our drinks to come and dessert with the check. But the biggest vibe kill was the guy that came around and opened the blinds before sunset. I am very light sensitive and had the blind closed for a reason, and he didn’t even let me ask him to not open it, he just did it and once opened it about blinded me. I get it the sunset is gorgeous, however some of us are very sensitive to bright lights and it would have been more appropriate to ask if I wanted the blind opened prior to him doing it.

The service was the only good thing here. The fish tasted worse than frozen, the vegetables weren’t even cooked, and we had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time. Definitely a place I would never want to go back to.

How to turn a frown upside down
We went July 31st for Happy Hour.
They keep changing the Happy Hour and Regular menu. They removed the steak tips from appetizers and replaced it with tenderloin poke. The poke came with chopsticks but it didn't come with flavor. We mentioned it to Mitch our bartender and he went and got a small plate of red pepper flakes which helped a lot.
I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and what I received was clam broth. A creamy broth lacking everything else. No potatoes, no clams, no nothing I Sent it back.
Mitch did a great job making our drinks. He is so enjoyable to chat with. The positives were the bread and butter were 5 stars. We had an order of French fries that aren't even on the menu and they were excellent.
Everything else was MEH. We drive 45 miles to go to Anthony's in Everett. We drive right by Anthony's in Kirklan because we enjoy the Everett location so much more. Maybe we will try Kirkland again.
August 23rd. We tried one more time.
We went up for cocktails and appetizers. Jennifer and Krista were working (yay).
I mentioned what happened last time and Jennefer offered to comp me a bowl of chowder. I said make it a cup.
It was totally loaded with clams and potatoes. It was delicious. I don't know what went wrong in July but this chowder was wonderful.
My wife had fresh bread, a Ceasar salad and fish and chips. My favorites are all gone off the menu like Tempura Vegetables are now Tempura Asparagus and steak tips are now beef poke so my dinner was fresh bread and French fries. No problem as those were wonderful. Had a great time thanks to Jennifer and Krista. I never called the phone number in the reply. I was never looking for a hand out or refund.
If management would go up to the bar and slip a few bucks to Jennifer and Krista I would be happy. They turned my frown upside down.
