After 20 minutes of waiting in line, I'm told they are out of all grilled cheese sandwiches. With 4 people behind the counter, this should / could have been announced to ALL the folks standing in the rather long line, or maybe a hand-written sign?
Me and my husband visited this establishment today before our flight. We wanted a few simple things, some Mac and cheese, and grilled cheese as well as coffee. The person taking our order was very rude and incompetent. We are pretty sure her name was Kasey or Casey, she had brown hair, she seemed short and was white. After taking our order she went to do random tasks instead of helping her coworkers with the rush. It was very unprofessional and honestly lazy. With this being the only place to get food before our flights we expect better service. They should really reconsider who they hire in this establishment to ensure the best service for their costumers.
I love Beechers at Paine. Field. They offer tasty snacks and sandwiches but the service was poor. First, if you don’t open until 5:30, then block the line and put up a dang sign rather than ignore me, then offer a snarky “we’re not open yet” comment. Okay, so I quietly stand at the beginning of the stanchions waiting for 5 minutes to pass. Once 5:30 hits the cashier takes her place and just stares in my direction. She doesn’t say a word, just stares until I ask if she is ready. Really, it was a strange interaction. I realize it’s freaking early but geez.
Front lady was nice and welcoming.
One of the staff preparing the sandwich throw the sandwich and said “HERE”.
If I could give this a 6 star review, I would.
The customer service was outstanding! You can tell the staff are very friendly people who care about their customers. They helped me with everything I needed and even threw in a few jokes. The cashier who took my order, Isaac, really made my day. Not to mention, the food was delicious!
My favorite spot to get food before a flight - I always get the grilled chicken cheese sandwich. Super friendly and helpful service (s/o to Isaac and Sidekick). Will be back!
The biscuits are really bad, better to get something from outside. I wish the airport had more options.
The taste of the food is overly strong. Very Sharp cheese in every dish. Very strong olives and cheese in the orzo salad. Expensive for the portion size. I waited for the last 4 flights to write a review to be sure I’d tried most of their offerings. Sorry to report, none of it taste good.

A grab-and-go sandwich is more expensive than a fresh-made sandwich. You also have to stand in the inefficient line waiting for custom orders before you can pay for whatever you grab from the cooler. The sandwich was insanely dry and underwhelming - pretty much all bread with a tiny sliver of meat and cheese hidden inside somewhere. Either order fresh and wait for it, or Grab a drink because you'll need it to help choke down the dryness.

DO NOT GET THE LASAGNA! It is two lasagna noodles and a thin layer of cheese FOR $12.99!

The Mac n cheese was good but the grilled cheese was a bit dry.

Wish I could say something nice about this eatery. Food is just plain bad. It's the only show in town, so having bad food for the only food at an airport is a real issue. The cheese is weird, the bread is off, even the grease tastes bad. If that weren't enough the sandwiches are supersized, so you get a large portion of badness. I sure hope the airport finds a new vendor soon.

The mac and cheese was slightly salty, but the tomato soup was tasty. I asked for crackers for the soup, and a cashier lady kindly gave me some croutons instead. Overall, I think this place offers a good variety of quick meal options, even in the early morning.

Beecher’s inside PAE is the only food option. Despite the name, it offers a few to-go vegan options: two salads, two chia puddings, and occasionally a vegan cookie. All packaged options have listed ingredients. I opted for a vegan cookie on display a while ago (at least a year ago). It was decent, but it was mostly exciting to see a “vegan” baked good in the area. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-07
