I came to check out the bar, it was pretty slow about 10 people sitting and drinking with no que for drinks and bartender was not making drinks. I sat at the bar and waited while the bar tender talked with someone else at the end of the bar, after 5 minutes of no service I left. 2 stars becuase it looked like a cool place, would love to come back sometime and be served at all.

The bar is great and they book fun bands but the acoustic upstairs are just awful. Really echo-y, with earsplitting volume. Bring your best earplugs! I want to love this place but it's not there yet, needs some investment in sound absorbers or something.

There were rats in the building, and it is not accessible for disabled or handicapped people with mobility devices. Events held here are subject to scrutiny for their segregationist event space.Edit: At the time I went, this was true. I have not been back, as I didn't appreciate the lack of concern for ADA compliance or rats. Now that Sol Food left, I suppose the rats might be less of an issue.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is only accessible from a spiral stair case, No way for a wheelchair to access.

It's a very cute place that brings you back in time. Things are updated totally in character with the bars of yesteryear. I was there with friends on a Sunday afternoon listening to soft live music that was great. I believe they have live music regularly, but I'm not sure. They are big supporters of local art and community. Only draw back is that they don't have food yet, but they don't mind if you get food delivered there or bring your own. I'll be back for sure.
Parking: Street parking after 5 and on weekends is free without restrictions. Before 5 on weekdays is free with 2 hour restriction.
