Frappe Attack: A Love Story Between Me, Ice, and Regret

I ordered a frappé because I wanted caffeine but also wanted to pretend I’m making healthy life choices. After all, it’s coffee, right? That’s practically medicine.

The first sip was pure magic — creamy, icy, sugary bliss. The second sip? A reminder that this drink is 90% whipped cream and 10% whatever coffee molecule survived the sugar apocalypse. It’s like drinking dessert while convincing yourself you’re “just grabbing coffee.”

About halfway through, I experienced the frappé paradox: I was both freezing and sweating, hyper and exhausted, happy and ashamed. My brain froze so violently I saw my whole life flash before my eyes — including every time I said, “I don’t like sweet coffee.” Lies. All lies.

By the time I reached the bottom, I had a straw full of sticky coffee sludge and self-awareness. The frappé was gone, but its legacy (and 600 calories) remained. I looked down at the empty cup like it was an ex who still had my hoodie.

The girls are so sweet here and the food and drinks are delicious! Last time I was there, she already had my usual made by the time I got through the line and up to the window. 😊

Although this is not one of their menu drinks, ask for a 'sleepy hollow'. It is caramel and peanut butter syrup macchiato. Back home, this drink is one of our local coffee shops halloween specials but we order it year around it is so good. I ordered one from the Buffalo Espresso today & it was perfect. Other than that, they had stellar customer service. We stop here again the next time we roll through the area.

Not bad for a mocha. Better than starbucks, not as sugary as grounds coffee.
Not my regular spot, but I stop here when I need to take the ferry to whidbey.

Be warned they will tip themselves I had to ask to finish the transaction and she was hesitant. Such a bummer because their coffee is good. This was at 2:55pm

Absolutely LOVE this coffee spot! ALWAYS friendly, happy, cheerful and efficient service. And, if you're diabetic or just want to cut back on sugar, the selection of Sugar Free syrups is totally amazing.?

The best hot coffee in Mill Creek! Everything was delicious! I travelled 2500 miles to visit my daughter. We stopped at Buffalo Espresso 6 out of the 8 days I was there.
