I knew I was in for a treat the moment I stepped in: calm piano and soft lighting made for a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere, and the warm welcome from the server made me feel right at home. The japchae was a flavorful and the portion was large enough to be an appetizer for two. The sundubu was boiling hot, rich, and packed with tofu and veggies—it was exactly what I needed on a windy, rainy day. I so look forward to returning and trying more of the menu :) Didn’t have any wine today, but their selection looks stellar. Would be a lovely place to stop in for a drink and a good meal!

Cafe uu is one of the best spots in Everett — calm, stylish, and consistently good food. Everything tastes fresh and well-prepared, and the space has a relaxed, modern feel that’s hard to find downtown. Service is friendly and efficient.
Only downside: they’re closed on Sundays. This is exactly the kind of place you’d want open for a quiet weekend lunch. If they added Sunday hours, it would be near perfect.

Orthosie Properties
This is a special spot next door to my favorite coffee bar, “Narrative” in downtown Everett. I had a great grilled salmon lunch there which looked and tasted great! The salmon’ was grilled and seasoned perfectly on a bed of rice and fresh vegetables.
This is at a building I got to tour when it was being remodeled about 10 years ago. It had to have two kitchens because the owner had a production business which supplied Whole Foods, etc as I recall. Per code they had to add a second kitchen in back. Also had an impressive earthquake retrofit with steal beams and connections through the roof.
The new owners are better at getting food out to customers quicker while maintaining quality.

We really enjoyed our lunch. The waitress, Mina? was so friendly and attentive, adn the ambiance was really good. Had two big meals, can't pronounce them, both good, but could have used a few more veggies on the dishes. Very nice meal.

This place is amazing!! The JAPCHAEBAP or number 26 is fantastic probably some of the best sweet potato noodles I’ve ever had, did it with pork and it was an amazing combination. The kalbi ribs are phenomenal as well high quality meat with just the right amount of char on the outside while still being super juicy. Inside is super clean and inviting staff are very friendly I will definitely be coming back. I just wish they were open longer!
