Such a cute little restaurant! It’s truly a gem. I love an open kitchen. This spot is small and intimate, perfect place for a romantic date night. And the food is insanely good! I’ve been here twice now. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

I really wanted to like this place. First impression was not great. We stood awkwardly in the doorway for what felt like ages. Every table we could see was reserved but empty (it was just before 5 on a Saturday night). Someone finally approached and asked if we had a reservation, we said no, and she looked really annoyed and left us standing there with no direction. Finally she beckoned us over to a table by waving her hand and looking even more annoyed. The place was cold enough I kept my thick coat on for the whole meal. Other reviews said it was sweltering in the summer, so dress accordingly. Our waitress was nice but difficult to hear and understand. The place gets really loud. There’s no separation and the kitchen is in the same, small room.
There were 3 of us and we ordered a bunch of sides to try. We all ordered the potato leek soup, plus an order of the brussels sprouts, burrata cheese, focaccia, pear salad and delicata squash. She returned to tell us they were out of the soup. Everything was tiny portions, so be aware. The brussels were ok, but heavily burnt (I don’t mind a crispy, charred brussel but any flavor was masked by the burned flavor). The burrata was one ball. The flavors they paired with it were tasty, but nothing you couldn’t identify and do yourself at home. The focaccia was fine, served with herbed butter. We ordered the pear salad to replace the soups we didn’t get. It was literally half a pear sliced up with some cheese on top. The delicata squash didn’t arrive with everything else and it became clear it hadn’t been prepared. We asked about it and the waitress apologized and put the order in. The squash was the best thing.
TL/DR: Not worth the price. Tiny portions, single-serve, not sharable starters. Make it at home for 1/4 the cost. It was all very simply prepared, nothing stand-out amazing. I really wanted to like it, this kind of place is usually my jam, but I can’t recommend it unless you have money to burn and aren’t very hungry.

Great experience with very delicious food. Our server was kind and helpful. The cook staff even came around to deliver food when the place was really busy just to make sure people weren't having their food just sitting on the counter. We LOVED the bruschetta and pear salad. The focaccio was nice. My husband loved his rigatoni and I had the bucatini it wasn't my favorite but still good. We can't wait to try more bites from here.

Really tasty food, and I mean really delicious. Nice cute little place with warm lighting. The only problem is I found a long piece of hair in the food mixed with the pasta and I lost my appetite.

capers + olives is a gem in downtown Everett. We had a great experience dinning here for dinner. Alexandra, our waitress, was very helpful working with someone in my party with dietary restrictions. She partnered with the chef to accommodate their needs. I recommend the srozzapreti!

Was was delicious with harmonious flavor combinations. Kind and competent staff. A bit elevated from most dinner joints in Everett. Slightly larger portions than I normally associate with this price range; I had a starter with one of the pasta dishes and was a bit overly full by the end of the meal.

First time having dinner here. Let me break this down in few categories below:
Atmosphere: Cozy. It's a comfortable small restaurant with a lot of charm. It's well spaced out and it doesn't feel cramped. The best seats would be closest to the action where both the Chef and Sous Chef is cooking your meal. It's a great vibe. It is a well oiled machine. The key here is team work.
Service: Was good. We were greeted by the Sous Chef, the Chef, and our waitress. Our waitress was attentive to the best of her ability as her sections were busy.
Food:
This is the center piece of this place. The food is excellent. We ordered the Leek Soup, Meatballs, Rigatoni, and Paccheri.
Each of these were excellent. Let's focus on the Rigatoni and Paccheri, the pasta was cooked to perfection for both of these dishes. It was slightly al dente. The sauce for the Paccheri was pure perfection. The Rigatoni was exceptional. Each dish had such depth and flavor. You won’t get tired after the first bite.
Though you may visually think these dishes are small but they are truly filling.
It is worth the visit. Highly recommend this location. Reservations are a must.
Just a side note: the restaurant lighting is a touch dim. Could use a bit more brightness.

This place blew us away. It’s a small, cozy spot, but the food is unbelievable. The smell of fresh bread hit us the second we walked in, and it only got better from there.
The bruschetta was incredible – the onions and cheese together were unforgettable – and the focaccia was just as good. Their menu changes often, but every pasta is paired perfectly with the sauce made for it. My husband’s strozzapreti with sausage was amazing, and my bucatini carbonara-style was rich, creamy, and perfect.
We even skipped the birthday cake at home because the olive oil cake here was too good to pass up.
Small restaurant, huge flavor. Absolutely worth trying.

I have been to this spot a few times and they have been very consistent on good food. I've tried almost all of the pastas and I also tried the chicken and I can honestly say I haven't had a bad dish from here. When people come visit me in Everett and they ask if it's any good spots in to eat here this is the number 1 place I recommend. It's a intimate setting not a huge place to dine but it's a cool atmosphere. Honorable mention goes to the server I forgot her name but she has blonde hair I believe she been great every time. Must try!

The way those huge windows open up is beautiful. It feels as though you're eating outside even while indoors. The way the sunlight dapples against the brick walls is an art in itself, and the open-air kitchen adds to the romance. The focaccia texture was immaculate, and the herbed butter to go on top was perfect. The peach bruschetta? Fire! We dined in for an anniversary, and it's safe to say we'll be together another 5 years. This restaurant saved our relationship!!! They also have plenty of parking.
