Amazing pastries, and they change it up. Stuff you tend to find in upscale neighborhoods. My only complaint is I go in and want everything.

Cafe Mocha was so so, not bad, but not great. The cinnamon rolls had too much almond flavor.

Choux Choux Bakery has a lovely ambiance and creative charm, but the experience feels limited. The drinks and pastries look beautiful yet lean too sweet and lack depth — for example, the pistachio macaron had little pistachio flavor.
The space itself is inviting but needs more seating and a fuller menu to match the atmosphere. A few fresh sandwich and salad options would make it a true neighborhood café rather than a quick pastry stop.

I ordered a birthday cake from here recently and guys, this has to be said. It was soooooooo dense, it was so heavy, I should’ve weighed it, but my guess is 20 pounds. It was moist, but somehow crumbled when sliced. The buttercream was mid. The lemon curd was the best part and the part I ate. I will not be ordering another cake from here. Why? Because it was the opposite of light and fluffy. The taste was out played by the dense nature of it. The cake was a 3 out of 5 stars. Disappointing :(
Luckily I remembered I paid and didn’t ask anyone to pick it up for me because they asked me to pay for it again (80+ bucks). They quickly realized their mistake though when I said I paid for it.
The pastries and cookies were outstanding 5 out of 5 stars, so I would go back for other baked goods, just not cake. In the words of George W, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice….Well….you’re just not gonna fool me again”.
Be warned: Choosing just one pastry is very very difficult.
I have the croissants, cinnamon rolls, and scones on repeat. Do not sleep on those cookies in the jar. They might not grab your attention as much as one of the cakes but they are fantastic.

2nd update: i’ve probably tried like 50 things now and can really only recommend their bread loaves at this point. so many items are now strange in texture or taste. I keep getting garlic / onion / savory like flavors on sweet pastries! also i have had rancid oil taste twice.
Update: It would be great if you could please label things again I’m not sure why it had to go away. This is the second time it’s happening but I ask what the cake is and I’m told white cake with buttercream and chocolate ganache, but the cake tastes like marzipan or amaretto or almond something for sure :(
Super cute place! I followed the bakery on Instagram and I like seeing the available options everyday! Very fun! The macarons were really tasty - the chai latte was not so great, very weak, so I’ll probably only be coming back for treats!
I like their products, they bake deliciously and have some things I’ve not been able to find somewhere else. The only thing I don’t love is their coffee.

Wow, this is the best bakery ive come across in the area. I tried the pumpkin cupcake among other things. Bonus points they make their own syrups for the coffee and offer oakmilk as well. Open convenient hours and offer special orders with a couple day notice.
We got an assortment for our anniversary. Tiramisu and carrot cake cupcake was pretty good. We were really looking forward to the Lemon with blackberry cake, but it was dry, and bland which is surprising for a lemon cake and the blackberry sauce tasted like it was out of a can. Also tasted and tossed chocolate and raspberry cupcake and magic bar. Do yourself a favor. You'd be better off going to a safeway bakery.
