Dickey's Barbecue Pit

First, everyone should use Dickey's catering to help during the holiday season! Their meat is RIDICULOUS! It's so delicious and all of your guests will love it! I like the Cajun Turkey, and I get it a day early and just reheat and it's always fall off the bone moist! We also go to Dickey's year round and the BBQ is delicious and a definite household fave. The cost is super reasonable and the meat is the star of the show.

The Everett location is my go to - the service is awesome! Such a great team, fabulous food and it's easy to take home and re-heat as well if you need something in a pinch.

I called their catering number a few days in advance of needing a lunch to be set up and delivered to a nearby job site for work. They were absolutely terrific to work with. Picked up the phone first try and listen to tentatively as we decided what to get. The delivery was spot on time with delicious food and plenty of it for a very good prize. I will make note to use these folks again for offsite catering. Keep up the excellent work team! 🤩🤗🚧😍

I found plastic in my chopped brisket meal, I’m missing barbecue sauce, and I have a side of beans for some reason. It was a delivery order and the store wanted me to drive the half hour there to pick up new food.

Order here if you want dry overcooked brisket. Such a waste of money. Worst brisket Ive ever seen. Will never be back and am now wishing I had have followed the previous reviews.

Absolute trash! Gave the benefit of the doubt knowing Texas isn't the only place with good BBQ.
This place didn't not help that thought. Gave the worst cuts of brisket the turkey literally tasteless like a bologna texture.

I saw a rat in their establishment when I was ordering take out.

Below average BBQ (just an opinion from a Texan). The sliced brisket was so dry that drowning it in sauce didn’t help. The pork ribs had decent flavor, but again they were just dry and tough. The pulled pork was just as dry, but with less flavor.

The sides were ok (fried okra, Mac n cheese, and brisket chili). Would not recommend this spot based on the taste and pricing, but might try again far in the future if things change.

This is the first review I’ve ever left for this company. I’m extremely upset. I order food from here all the time on Uber eats fortunately they do not deliver. Therefore, I do it on Uber eats I make an order and my Uber eats guy shows up to the place at 8:45 PM. They close at nine and then I get my order canceled. I do not believe this is due to the Uber eats carrier for I am leaving him a very nice tip to bring me my Food. I believe this is a scenario of where they want to shut everything down and have the place cleaned and therefore versus prioritizing Durham person who is making an order they decide to cancel the order on their own. They wait for the Uber. Eats guy to get there and then tell them. Oh sorry we are closed, even though they are not if this is a case Then they should just simply pull their deliveries down an hour prior to closing now I’ve been charged on my account for $50, which is not a big deal, but this is a common scenario with these guys as much as I love their food. I’m extremely upset with their poor service when I try to call them because it’s close to closing they don’t answer. Sure wish I could do that. At my place of work they should reconsider the way they operate things because they lose a lot of business Dickie’s barbecue thank you for all your great services, but I probably will never order from you again along as telling all my friends how terrible the services I don’t want anything for free just so you know I make more than enough money to provide for myself and my family. However, your services have been terrible even though your quality of food is extremely great Thanks and have a great night and thank you for your great experience.
