This is the first review I’ve ever left for this company. I’m extremely upset. I order food from here all the time on Uber eats fortunately they do not deliver. Therefore, I do it on Uber eats I make an order and my Uber eats guy shows up to the place at 8:45 PM. They close at nine and then I get my order canceled. I do not believe this is due to the Uber eats carrier for I am leaving him a very nice tip to bring me my Food. I believe this is a scenario of where they want to shut everything down and have the place cleaned and therefore versus prioritizing Durham person who is making an order they decide to cancel the order on their own. They wait for the Uber. Eats guy to get there and then tell them. Oh sorry we are closed, even though they are not if this is a case Then they should just simply pull their deliveries down an hour prior to closing now I’ve been charged on my account for $50, which is not a big deal, but this is a common scenario with these guys as much as I love their food. I’m extremely upset with their poor service when I try to call them because it’s close to closing they don’t answer. Sure wish I could do that. At my place of work they should reconsider the way they operate things because they lose a lot of business Dickie’s barbecue thank you for all your great services, but I probably will never order from you again along as telling all my friends how terrible the services I don’t want anything for free just so you know I make more than enough money to provide for myself and my family. However, your services have been terrible even though your quality of food is extremely great Thanks and have a great night and thank you for your great experience. BBQ was ok. Had the pulled pork sandwich - kind of bland, needed sauce. Sides not recommended. If I have Dickies again it will be delivered - the place was a little dingy.

The food was great, however, several operational issues were noted: tabletop cleanliness was suboptimal, three fountain drink dispensers lacked syrup, and the supply of disposable cutlery was insufficient. When asked for more forks, the staff gave a low end, pre-packaged sysco f.k.s. napkin combo, which are flimsy. It could barely handle scooping baked beans without bending.

I tried just brisket, it was a heavenly taste and I said waoww at first bite. Service and hospitality was so kind. I will bring my friends. Real barbecue place I am strongly recommend.

Just got this place delivered by UberEats and it was disgusting. I got the 3 meat plate with sliced brisket, chicken breast, and turkey. I also got the loaded baked potato.

A large portion of the brisket was fat and not the good rendered down fat. No this was the slimy kind that should have cooked down if it was cooked long enough. There also was no smoke flavor.
So I don't know how they are cooking it but it's not right. The chicken and turkey were basically inedible. There was this underlying chemical flavor and somehow the turkey didn't even taste like turkey. I'm glad I got the potato also but even that has its problems. It definitely had not been cooked long enough. Not all of it was soft and fluffy like you get when you bake one long enough.

I would not recommend this place at all. They really don't know what they are doing when it comes to BBQ.

This place is great! We tried the three-plate meal with brisket, ribs, and turkey, along with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes—everything was delicious. The only downside? My husband is mad we didn’t discover this spot sooner!

Awesome brisket. Good and fast service. They also have Pup Cups you can bring home for your critters and omg my two dogs thought they were in heaven! Nice sized chunk of meat that I split between two medium sized dogs and 10 minutes later they are still celebrating.

Fantastic experience with a down-home-type of team of people working hard and laughing loudly. Owner sat down and chatted with guests and people serving were kind and outgoing. I ordered the BBQ Brisket Potato and ate for 20 minutes and I’m going home with half my potato! Good value for the money and great tasting food!

Parking: Mini mall with lots of parking.
