Nice, small shop with friendly staff and pretty good food. I am spoiled on great Mexican food, coming from Fresno County in California. Now living in the Puget Sound area, it's difficult to find that same great taste I grew up on. El Nopal delivers with well made food at a reasonable price. Give them a try if, like me, you continue to look for well made Mexican food. Now that we've "found" them, my wife and I plan to visit often!

Our recent visit to El Nopal Mexican in Everett was a flavorful fiesta for the taste buds. The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the goat tacos, a culinary masterpiece that left us craving more.Served exclusively on Fridays and Saturdays, these goat tacos are a hidden gem that truly sets El Nopal apart. The succulent and tender meat, expertly seasoned and wrapped in warm tortillas, created a symphony of flavors that delighted our palates. The richness of the goat meat, combined with the perfect balance of spices, made each bite a savory sensation. The attention to detail in crafting these tacos was evident, and it's clear that El Nopal takes pride in offering a unique and delectable dish for those seeking an authentic Mexican dining experience. The limited availability on weekends only adds to the allure, making it a special treat for those fortunate enough to indulge.Beyond the gastronomic delights, the atmosphere at El Nopal was vibrant and inviting. The friendly staff contributed to the overall warmth of the dining experience, making us feel like cherished guests. For anyone seeking a culinary adventure and a taste of Mexican cuisine beyond the ordinary, El Nopal Mexican in Everett is a must-visit. The goat tacos alone are worth the trip, turning an ordinary weekend meal into a memorable and delicious occasion.

The sopes were delicious, the only reason it isn't 5 stars is because I have never purchased sopes & not have rice & beans with it. So I received 3 sopes but no rice & beans for $16. Other than that, the food was yummy!

Food is good but they hiked their prices 25%-30% on a lot of items which is disappointing. $41 for tots, a burrito and two tacos. I know inflation has hit us all but this seems excessive.

Super yummy!!!!! Highly recommend trying the 3 tacos de birria! You won’t be disappointed :). We had both street tacos and tacos de birria. Rice and beans were good, appreciate the food was not oily or greasy! Will be back and we can’t wait!!!

Order a carne asada burrito and it was full of rice and beans thought there was a mistake and they gave me a rice and bean burrito till I looked closer and saw a few pieces of carne asada and their carnitas were so dry I choked on them and my daughter said mom their carnitas are so dry and hard to swallow. The only thing I can say was good was their flour and corn tortillas those were really good so if you want some tortillas go there and also their green salsa taste like uncooked tomatillo.

Went to get my usual Burrito plate to find out it was removed from the menu, The food was always just alright, now they raised the price of a regular burrito from 11.50 to 14$ thats a 22% increase, this happened in the last 8 months... Just seems odd to increase every menu item by 20% when everyone else is feeling it... this business is looking to take from there customers, if they can take an inch they will always take a mile.. you better believe the prices will never go back because greed doesnt work that way. Now they charge almost as much for the single burrito as they did for the burrito plate. This restaurant may serve decent food, but there also secretly acting like every other corporations pushing finance goals to the customer. Better watch out if disney plus raises there sub then this business might change there prices to make YOU pay for it.

I learned about El Nopal from Instagram. Gave it a try. I tried their taco plate which came with beans & rice, 3 tacos & soup. Plus a can of soda. The tacos were packed with birria and the soup added umami. I’ve tried a number of Mexican food trucks & restaurants in Lynnwood and there is only one other truck I keep going back to. I had a good interaction at El Nopal. Good food + good interaction = makes it on my list of going back. Plus they had an interesting dish called birria ramen which seems like a yummy fusion dish.

Great place if you want to wait 20+ minutes for 2 tacos. Wasn't busy inside, but they clearly didn't have enough people in the kitchen to handle orders from there/online around dinner time.Tacos were okay, but the tortillas were far thicker than most street tacos and I wasn't a fan.Delicious churro though.

Another whole in the wall taco joint with hot Cheetos option inside a burrito and the reason why my son wanted to try it. Typical tacos and burritos joint, nothing stood out ... Except that the protein portion needs to be doubled up if they are charging $3 for each taco ... Street taco size.
