We love going to Emerys. The food is great. The service is top notch. It is so nice to have a 5 star restaurant in the Silverlake area.
Waiter was annoyingly in our faces My wife said she still felt hungry after finishing her Salmon Duet special Very hard to hear ourselves talk at our talk because of acoustics.
Artisticly presented plates of tasty food. Very gourmet. Lots of daily specials available. Atmosphere was upscale and relaxing with beautiful lake views. Dined with a certified wine educator and he felt the wine bottle service needed some finesse with the opening, pouring and glass placement but the Merryhill viognier was exceptional. Overall the restaurant was too pricey for frequent returns, but would go back for a special occasion.
Tremendous bar and table staff, very professional on a busy and sunny day. Loved their attention to our needs and very friendly.
Ordered Salmon, it was undercooked and so I sent it back. They were very apologetic and actually prepared me a new meal, but unfortunately it was even more undercooked than the first but I didnt want to have to send it back again so I took it home. My husband had also ordered salmon, his was done, but he was sick a couple hours later. Luckily I didn't really eat much of mine because it was not done, but didn't feel very good a couple hours after; didnt get sick like he did pretty sure it was the salmon it did have a slight off flavor. We have eaten there a lot, and it has always been very good, but the last couple times we've eaten there, I would have to say the food was not good. The fish and chips we got last time; the fish was a hard and grissly texture and we ended up throwing it out, we ordered pick up so there was no sending it back, we just wasted money. The ambience is great beautiful view of the lake, staff is friendly; sad that their food has not been good lately not sure why since it has always been good before.
Excellent spot to spend Father's Day brunch with my kids. They loved it!!! And there's a playground next to the restaurant so you can "play off" the food with your kids.
Emory's on Silver Lake is a gem! I recently had their fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly crispy and flavorful. I also tried the pink rose cocktail, which was a delightful complement to the meal. The location is fantastic, right next to the water with plenty of parking. I especially enjoyed sitting outside by the fireplace, creating a cozy and scenic atmosphere. The servers were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Emory's for a great meal and a relaxing ambiance!
The final day of the halibut specials was great. It was a beautiful day, so sitting on the covered patio was great!
Halibut 3 course dinner was a very good value and had great flavor. Emory's has always been one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants.
Overall the experience was great once we sat down! Our server was awesome and the food was delicious! I was disappointed having a reservation along with everyone else I was seated last even though we came in before 2 of the groups that were seated first.

My Salmon scrambled was cold, we had party of 4 the fruit platter served with Easter Brunch had only one strawberry and two slices melon.
I made reservations for Easter brunch and we were very pleased. We were seated promptly, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and the restaurant is beautiful.
Went for Easter brunch and the food was terrible. The eggs Benedict came out with both eggs very well done (appeared hard boiled), the bacon and ham was undercooked and French toast and egg dishes were very underwhelming. This is our third trip since the change in ownership and the quality is consistently sub-par. We won't be back!
Nice location. Good service. Good food. More expensive than is warranted all things considered.
We come often, but this time, we were disappointed to learn that Happy Hour is no longer an option on the patio. We've been there many times and have enjoyed happy hour out on the patio on a sunny day. Service felt rushed, and the server was in a hurry. Food options are much smaller than before. We ordered the Rhubarb slum and the pie inside was cold when it's usually piping hot; not enough ice cream on top either. Very disappointing. We're hoping this is a one-off experience and will be back again soon. It's our favorite spot, so I'm hoping the restaurant takes the constructive feedback into consideration
