We have been here many times. Last night was, by far, the least enjoyable. It was exceptionally loud, service was slow, food was bland and our server was extremely inattentive. It was a special occasion so this was really disappointing. When you're paying this much for a meal, you expect a much better experience.

Had surf and turf special, one person had with crab stuffed mushrooms and the other with scallops, and both were superb. Restaurant was very busy for Tuesday night after a holiday, which caused some waiting before we got a table even with a reservation, but service after we were seated was good.

We had an exceptional visit this past weekend to Emory's. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was exceptional, and the service (Cole) was absolutely stellar. I heartily recommend dining in this neighborhood's gem restaurant.

My husband and I have been going to Emory's for a long time!! We love everything about Emory's and its a great place to go have dinner with a girl friend or friends, as well!! We had Anthony as our server last night and he is always very attentive and gives us great service. We have found that to be true of all of Emory's waiters and waitresses.
We went to Emory's for tge first time. The decor is lodge like with a lovely view of the lake. If you wish to sit on the patio, it enclosed in winter with an inviting fire and heat lamps to keep you warm.
We ordered the $15 happy hour wood fired pizzas. Molly's Garden is loaded with lots of vegetables and my mother thought is was the best veggie pizza she has had. I had the prosciutto fig which was also tasty. I asked for more arugula and tge prosciutto was sparse, but it was very good.
Wine was a bargain at $9 a glass for Sparkman Celkars and Dusted Valley wine.
The only negative was the terrible urine smell in the lady's bathroom (which the manager said they are working on) and the slow, uninspired service. We waited a while for someone to come to our table and eventually had to flag someone down.

What the heck happened to Emory's??? We used to give it 5 stars, but the last two times we were there (Aug '25, Dec'25) it was terrible. Steaks were NOT cooked as asked for, potatoes were cold, wait staff waited about 10 mins before checking on the dinner (too late by then to fix it). Super disappointed (it was my birthday). Will be looking elsewhere for the next celebration :(

My husband and I went here last night to celebrate our anniversary. I had high hopes for a beautiful evening. What a disappointment. We had a reservation and sat quickly, however just sat for 20 minutes before our server even acknowledged us. We finally were greeted and our water glasses filled, we then ordered cocktails, soup, our entrees and no bread due to an allergy. 20 mins later she returned with a lemonade and bread.. Our server was sweating profusely, she kept disappearing though she only had us and another table of two… maybe she was going through something personal so I feel badly for writing this. However, it was an hour later before we received our food. I could completely understand if the restaurant was busy, however other tables with different servers obtained their food though they arrived after us. It definitely ruin our anniversary, though the food was good bad service definitely mitigates the taste of celebration joy! Pretty disappointed!
