My first time going to Enseamada after a friend recommended it to me and it was amazing! We got the Sisig bowl and the 808 plate with ribs. Also got the Ube Cookie Halo Halo and it was incredible. I will be craving this forever now.

I really wanted to like this place… and reflecting on it I’m not sure if this would be a place I would automatically think of to go back if I was feeling Hawaiian or Filipino cuisine.Parking: Small shared parking lot with other retailPet friendly: NoFamily friendly: YesFOOD:1. Crispy Sizzling Sisig (Crispy pork belly coated with our special sauce served on a sizzling plate topped with fried egg and 2 scoop of rice) $17.95: 3 Stars – Honestly I don’t think I would order this again. The pork belly was definitely not crispy, the skin was more tough and super chewy that it got unpleasant to eat. Their special sauce was too sweet for me. I’ve had some amazing sisig (home cooked as well as at restaurant) and I was looking forward to this…2. Hurricane Chicken (Boneless fried chicken drizzled with garlic sauce, mac salad, and 2 scoop of rice) $15.95: 4 Stars – I really enjoyed this and I actually had to swap my Sisig with this plate which my husband ordered. He hit it on the head when he said it looked and tasted like Honey walnut shrimp you get at a Chinese restaurant, which he’s not a huge fan of but I am!!DRINKS:Ube Sweet Cream – Of the three things we ordered THIS WAS THE BEST THING. I like ube but never got on the “I love all things ube” train but the drink looked so pretty I had to try it even if its was 5pm in the afternoon. The sweet cream was so thick like it was pretty hard for any of it to come out of the small whole in the lid. When you say you’re giving me cream, give me some damn cream and they did!! The ube flavor went so well with the coffee and its not something I normally would have tried cause again (ube everything??).MENU/RESTAURANT:I really like the menu being limited as it means one there isn’t a lot of time needed to decide. So you don’t have to stand behind someone in line that is taking forever to decide. I’ve been craving Filipino food for so long (like for 6 years since we’ve moved up here) that I had such high hopes. This place is obviously popular due to the high ratings on this and other platform and there was a constant decent size line the whole time we were there. If you didn’t tell me they served Filipino food, I would have thought this was strictly a Hawaiian restaurant. The moment you walk through the door, the music, vibe, and décor was VERY Hawaiian. Small restaurant, clean, and bright. The only thing that kind of annoyed me was if there is a line, you would be in the way of the tables but that’s something almost all small restaurants deal with.SERVICE:Limited interaction with the staff as this was a walk up and order and take a seat place. The most talking you have is with the person when you place the order. That being said, everyone was nice ?.

As a foodie & someone who grew up eating & cooking Filipino food, stumbling upon Enseamada Cafe in Everett was a real treat. Excited to explore their Filipino offerings, I ordered chicken inihaw, ensaymada, mango sago, and the calamansi green tea refresher.Unfortunately, the chicken inihaw was drowned in sauce, leaving much to be desired. The refresher drink was overly sweet, and the mango sago tasted artificial (pls don’t use food coloring), lacking the freshness of real mangoes. On a positive note, the ube ensaymada was a standout, bursting with delicious flavor. Despite the hiccups, I still recommend giving Enseamada Cafe a try (l support local business). Service and general cafe atmosphere is great! Just a friendly suggestion to go easy on the sauce and sweetness levels in their drinks and desserts for a more enjoyable experience.

Taking advantage of the plethora of Asian eateries around here and I was looking for Filipino food that's not Red Ribbon or Jollibee. This place was rated high so I stopped by and ordered their sisig bowl. Portion was generous; came with side of macaroni salad side and the usual rice. Their sisig is chopped crispy belly with a sweet white sauce. Definitely not the sisig I'm used to.They make their own ensaemada in different flavors plus several native desserts like buko salad, mango sago and ube roll. The mango sago is good.

I like their desserts like their halo-halo and corn halo-halo. Their enseamadas are ok. The food they serve seam to be filipino style however their sisig was way too sweet and their bbq tasted like teriyaki. The food didn’t remind me of any true Filipino dishes.

Delicious casual dinner spot. Such a treat with Hawaiian reggae music playing to bring me home for a dinner date :) The chicken soup in the hot stone bowl with furikake topped on rice was delightful. My partner had the 808 mix plate w/ BBQ chicken. We had to have the yummy mango dessert and buttery brioche bread to take home. This place is very well recommended!Kid-friendliness: parents brought their little ones. kids were very welcome here
