I rarely give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement. However, Fisherman Jack's was an all-around great place. The food was delicious, the servers were attentive, and the restaurant was well thought out. I tried 2 of their signature drinks (Lavender Breeze and Pacific Passion), their pork XLB, and General Ng's chicken. Everything was delicious. I will be back for sure. Staff are friendly. Food is lovely and cooked well but is very bland as far as flavor. Both soups we had were disappointing as there was no flavor to either. The variety of dim sum and shareable items were the same also. Looked perfect and cooked great but lacked any real depth of flavor. The location and decor are amazing!
The location on the marina is beautiful. The dumplings and the hot and sour soup were delicious. My favorites were the potstickers and the spicy won ton. The server gave us a pro tip, the spicy won ton comes in a spicy broth that is left over. She recommended getting an order of noodles to put in the broth and enjoy after eating the won tons. This turned out to be a great addition to an already fabulous meal. We will certainly eat here again when visiting the area.
