I love Frying Fish in Bellevue, so I was excited to try the Everett location. We waited over an hour with my 3-year-old niece, which was tough, but I hoped for the same great service I’m used to. Sadly, our order was delayed and no compensation was offered. I still believe this place has potential—with more care for guests, it could match the wonderful Bellevue experience.

Frying Lemon Fish has excellent food — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable.

The only downside is how the menu is structured. Each dish is large and meant to be ordered on its own, which makes it hard to try a few different things if you’re just one or two people. Some smaller meal sets or combo options would make it easier to sample more without needing a big group.

Still, the quality and flavor make it one of the best Chinese spots around — great for sharing or a full family meal.

Yummy food that is all I can say. Even if you don’t love spicy food they will adjust the dishes. The flavor is just spot on. I just came back from Chongqing eating so much mala I got so numb lol. But their food I can just kept on eating. The pig ear is my children’s fave and they said this is the best one they had tasted.
Definitely will come back to try other dishes. Prices are reasonable.

I think the food, service, and atmosphere are amazing (especially the food), but the wife thinks it too spicy. Not me.

I love this place. I'm so happy we now have good szechuanese food up here in Everett! My favorites and the tree ear fungus, lamb with gravy, and cumin beef.

This was our first time to this restaurant. The food was very good (orange chicken and General Taos). The servings for lunch were the right amount and the price was very good. The hot tea was also very good! The restroom was very clean and very neat. Parking was also available right in front of the restaurant. We will come back again!

Ordered lunch to go, asked twice if the item I ordered came with rice, was told yes both times (me: "it does or it does not come with rice?" them: "it does") and then only found out after leaving with the food that they didn't include any rice. I even said "OK so it comes with rice, I don't need anything else then" and I would have paid for a side order of it if they had told me. I don't get why they would just lie like this, but it was pretty clear the hostess had no interest in customer service.
