This is my go-to fried chicken place but they are unfortunately permanently closed! Their Lake City location is still open.
This location is no longer in business. We will miss your fantastic spicy breast. Other locations are still open to business, just not the one in Everett.

This place is my family's favorite! We're so sad that they're closing on 7/31/24. Now we'll have to make the drive to the Lake City location.

It looked like a ghost town when I walked in, so I was a little nervous. But the man at the counter was so sweet, and the food was pretty good. They only have a limited selection of cans for a drink. The mashed potatoes reminded me of childhood. The chicken was a little fatty, but my cat and I ate it all up. I'd go back. Maybe even dine in, cause the seats looked brand new and ready for people.

The biscuits were really the only thing that anyone in my family enjoyed. I tried this chicken years ago and was disappointed and thought we would give it another shot but i much rather had spent my money somewhere else. I mean I totally respect that this is a family owned place but I'm just not impressed. The liver was way over cooked and you could tell the grease was old and burnt in the flavor of the chicken and it seemed like the only seasoning it had on it, it was also pretty greasy and overcooked. The potato salad seems like a miracle whip version which I'm not a fan of and it seemed really sweet overall. The baked beans tasted like they were canned and the corn was greasy and not seasoned at all. The mac and cheese was ok but a little grainy and salty.
I unfortunately will not be going back again.
This is a very Family oriented place
Good food with good hospitality
We stop in once a week & sometimes twice for mom
One of the things we Love & Respect is seeing the presence of the OWNER

Ordered a 2 piece meal on Sunday mid afternoon…. The heat was heavy so why not get some fried chicken, right? Oh was I wrong!! The guy taking my order was alive when the horse and buggy was still the main mode of transportation. Now don’t get me wrong if you can do the job great! But this guy was glitching so hard mentally I thought I was watching the 2024 Biden/Trump debate. I don’t even think he knew he was working. There was also only one cook and clearly my 2-piece meal was more than he could handle bc after paying: I actually had to go home, drop my wife n young child off, then drive back and our food still wasn’t ready! I had to wait another 10minutes for my meal. I never knew I was waiting so long bc they were butchering the chicken- talk about fresh (farm to table), but again I was mistaken. I won’t even talk about the temperature of the chicken bc that is irrelevant compared to the soggy coating, dry meat, and when I say tough… I could have hammered nails in with how tough the meat was. This was my first time going there bc I was fooled by all the reviews, but trust me this was definitely my last.

Ordered this place on a whim through doordash. Incredible. By the time I finally got to eat my food (not the restraunts fault I was just busy) it was only lukewarm, but still incredibly crispy. I got 2 thighs and 2 legs and a side of potatoes and gravy. Everything was crispy, juicy, well seasoned and delicious. Definitely going to be coming back whenever I get a chicken craving.
Gluten free options ??? Takeout only

It wasn't great or terrible, just very "okay". Definitely more on the expendive side. Service was a little shoddy and the lobby/restroom was kind of dilapidated. They didn't even try to hide the fact that their baked beans were bush's (cans stashed in the corner of the lobby for all to see).As I write this review I'm starting to worry I might get food poisoning from eating here...

Cashier walked away from me in the mid of order, he was in the kitchen and kept checking if I was still there for about 20 minutes before I decided to leave. Very weird and disappointing

I recently tried their 16 pieces fried chicken combo with 1 side and was quite disappointed. Only the thigh pieces were of decent size; the drumsticks and wings were very small. The crust was extremely hard and chewy, and the meat was dry and tough. It certainly wasn't worth the money I spent. The taste was mediocre at best, and even the buns were dry. If you like Ezell's, I'd recommend sticking with that.

When they said heaven sent I didn't think that, the chicken would be falling down from heaven crispy, well seasoned, and hot. I thought Ezelles had it on lock. But now I know. Thank you, sir. I can tell that of the quality and effort you put into your business. ?
