They may be a decent Thai place, but the Vietnamese dishes were the most horrible things I'd ever had in general, not even comparing with the same dishes in Vietnam or California. The snails and clams were like rubber, and the marination was way off. If you want Ốc in Seattle, I'd recommend Rainier BBQ, even though their Ốc menu isn't as big.

Serving warm / cold meat for my cơm sườn (L3 on the menu). The portion is quite small. The service is good, but i don’t think i’ll come back for foods.

The calamari is undercooked to the point that i wouldnt trust it. The clams were overcooked and had a lot of sand. The banh mi was good.
Service was slow, it took about an hour to receive our order.

SLOWEST SERVICE I’ve ever experienced.

We’ve gotten take out from the restaurant before and decided to try it in person. Got to the restaurant a little after 12:30pm, we were one of the only 3 groups of customers in the restaurant. After ordering food, it took them 30 mins to give us the coffee we ordered.

At the 45 min mark, we got the one Bah Mi we ordered, and nothing else. I have no idea why everything takes so long, considering there’s basically no customers in the restaurant.

There’s children’s music playing the in background. Owner taking phone calls loudly. And NO FOOD.

At the 55 min mark, we got a bowl of clams. And when I asked the owner why everything is taking so long, he said - there’s a queue. But there’s literally only one other table dining in the restaurant at that point. Clam was very overcooked and there’s SAND in a lot of them.

At the 60 min mark, we got the scallops we ordered. For $16.95 for only 5 scallops, I was expecting the scallops to not be so tiny.

5 mins later, at 1:35pm, we received the noodle dish.

Another 5 mins later, we received the squid dish. It was undercooked. This is something I got take out for multiple times before coming here, and it is completely different from what I’ve received in takeout.

Overall it took over an hr to receive all the dishes we ordered and most of the food do not meet our expectations. Bill was a little over $100 in the end.

I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this restaurant or ordering take out from here again

Change of ownership. Vietnamese foods are cooked by non-Vietnamese. I don’t think they understand the ins and outs of our beloved cuisine.

My wife and I have tried this place about three times now and we are never disappointed! Service just as good as the food! Family friendly staff and atmosphere! Don’t sleep on this place! They’re obviously not your ordinary restaurant since they serve a huge variety of snails, clams and delicious oysters!

The food is fine but service is very slow. We ordered chicken wings for appetizer but it took 40mins to come out to our table when we already finished most of the meal.

I recently visited Bun and Oc and tried three of their signature dishes: Salty Fish Fried Rice, Pad See Eew, and Pho. While this is a Vietnamese restaurant, I also highly recommend their Thai food which is very authentic as well.

Each dish had its own standout flavors, making for an unforgettable experience.

1. Salty Fish Fried Rice
This dish was comfort food at its finest. The fried rice had just the right balance of salty fish flavor without being overwhelming. The rice was perfectly fried with chunks of egg mixed in, giving it a wonderful texture. Topped with fresh green onions and served with crunchy cucumber slices, it offered a nice contrast to the flavorful fried rice. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a rich, umami-packed dish.
2. Pad See Eew
The Pad See Eew was absolutely delicious. Wide flat noodles stir-fried with tender chicken, broccoli, and carrots in a savory soy-based sauce created the perfect harmony of sweet and salty flavors. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with a slightly smoky, charred taste that added depth to the dish. The fresh veggies provided a nice crunch that balanced the softness of the noodles. A great choice if you’re craving something hearty and flavorful.
3. Beef Pho
The pho was classic and comforting. The broth was light yet rich, with deep beefy flavors and hints of fragrant spices. The noodles were tender, and the slices of beef were perfectly cooked, adding a great texture to the soup. I particularly enjoyed the beef brisket which was very flavorful and tender and melted in my mouth. It was topped with fresh herbs and thinly sliced onions. It was the perfect bowl of pho for a nice cold and rainy Seattle evening.

I also got the crab friend rice to go and it was perfectly cooked. The rice was slightly charred which made for a nice touch that is hard to find else where.

The soup was super hot, with a perfect amount of spicy, and it came with a large mound of jasmine rice. The couple working there could not have been any sweeter. Even their little baby was being so good watching his show. It felt cozy and welcoming.

Beware: They changed the owner and the pho is nowhere near what it used to be!!!!!!!!! They also raised the price quite significantly, and added a Thai menu. The pineapple fried rice was not served on a pineapple like they have displayed on the wall which is kind of disappointing too. They need to choose whether they want to be Thai or Vietnamese and stick with one because neither is working right now.

The place is clean, the staff is welcoming, but the pho was lazily and horrible made. No flavor at all for the broth. It was basically water. The noodles were big. Those were not pho noodles. Some of the beef was overcooked and hard. The meatballs were cheap , had no flavor, and bad texture on the mouth. They didn't even try to cut the meatballs in half. They just dumped it like that.I have had probably hundreds of pho in my life and this one was the worst. I know life is getting expensive and they are probably cutting for cost, but for $17.95, that's ridiculous.
Now I understand why they say thank you for coming. That's because they don't get to have a lot of people who go there, so they are very surprised to see you show up ?‍♂️

This is my second time came back ,I reordered thai tomyum chicken soup and pad seeww.
It is very tasty same as street food in Thailand. I paid around 40$ for two persons . The lunch combo os really good, I will go back again.
