We ordered for pick up but there was a bit of confusion about the pick up time. Mandy was amazing and remade our order so that we would have warm food to eat. Mandy and management are great and the food is good too!

Visiting the area and found this place on a Google search. Service was super friendly and efficient. Food was exactly what we were hoping for. If you are on a bit of a budget and really hungry, grab the loaded baked potatoe, someone i was with ordered it and was amazed at the portion, couldnt even finish it. I went with a Brisket dinner and was not disappointed. Their corn bread is great!

Food was above average. All drinks were canned or bottled, and they didn't offer tap water. Hence there was no need for services, and there was indeed virtually none.
But this is a personal pet peeve. People ordered and paid at the counter, at which point the cash register asked for tips. I don't know if I would have tipped the same amount I did, now knowing that there would be no service - not even tap water / refills.

Honest Review! Beef brisket 6/10 tough dry on one side, fatty on edge, slight liver taste, needed a lot of sauce. Collards 10/10 so tasty. Reds and gravy 12/10 amaze! Jal cheddar sausage was fine 8/10. Service at the counter was good. I don't love being asked for a tip as you're handed a paper plate, and you bus your own table. One plate plus 2 water bottles (we shared bc we weren't starving) and 15% tip was $42. I might go back.

I was looking for bbq &/or soul food near Everett. Decided to try this place out. It isn’t “black people” BBQ, but it’s solid. The baked beans were the only thing I didn’t like. Meat was tender and the bbq sauce is good. Greens & potato salad were actually pretty good too. Woman at the counter was still friendly even though it was within an hour of closing. The ribs were my favorite. Great meaty cut and they were cooked perfectly. Should have gotten a pic of the ribs/brisket cuts.

We went to J and L BBQ about a week ago and what a fantastic find! I can’t remember tasting better barbecue, I really mean that! I also had the potato salad and Coleslaw. These were off the charts delicious!!! Very good service too and big portions. PLEASE give it a try.
