James Bay Distillers Ltd

Brought my family here on a late Sunday. Having been to other spirit tastings before, I was expecting us to be in and out within 15 minutes or so. Definitely was not the case here, the experience far exceeded any previous experiences l've had.

Ernie, our host and one of the co-founders, was fantastic. I appreciated that he was not only generous with his pours, but also generous with his time, expertise, and humor. We never felt rushed, even though we came about an hour before closing. I felt that he went above and beyond with how well he treated my family and me.

And of course, the spirits themselves were of highest quality as well. My family, notoriously picky with their alcohol, only had glowing reviews of all they tried (and there was quite a bit to try!). Even to my untrained palette, I could tell that the spirits were deserving of all the awards they've won.

Cannot recommend James Bay Distillers enough! Whether you're looking for your next impressive bottle to take home, or just a fun way to spend an hour or two, James Bay Distillers is a fantastic option.

Great experience! Tasted several even the Gin, which I'm never fond of, but a couple even I would buy. Highly recommend!

Summer Gin is the best Gin I’ve ever had! Their new Everett Bourbon is amazing as well! The straight up vodka is so smooth and great for sipping!

The tasting I had was hosted with charisma, fun facts, and humor, and every single spirit itself was truly impressive.

I left with a case and plan to be back again! You absolutely should check out this rare gem of a distillery.

Their goods are pure clear and tastes clear and delicious, if you want pure clean organic alcohol come here only !! I highly recommend them, their vodka whiskey and cognac is delicious, come only here for your liquor, their alcohols is not pure and soo soo good,

A group of us stopped by having purchased a Groupon that gave us tastings with a shotglass. Of all the tastings I've experienced, this one by far had the widest variety in flavors! With gin and whiskey and vodka, there were some very unique flavors, each distinct from one another.The distillery is run by a wonderful couple, they were very accomodating and knew their product well. They sell bottles from their location as well as cocktails and ice cream.

Just had to comment on how delicious James Bay’s Summer Gin is! Something about the orange and mandarin that made for a delicious Gin & Tonic. Yummy!!?

This is a pretty amazing place! Stopped by for a tasting. It was an over the top experience! Expected to have a few decent little tastes.Instead we were treated to an unexpected smooth whiskey, vodka and even gin! Now I have had smooth whiskey and vodka before. But this was better then anything I have had before!I have ran into 1 gin that was pretty decent. Here I got to experience multiple gins that I was able to drink straight! There was a nice fresh citrus one!So many good flavors!

One of the best whiskeys and gins I’ve ever tasted! Their summer gin was exceptional. Also, the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable.
