Real Review: My husband and I stopped in Friday evening for a quick date and ordered one milkshake to share, like we’ve done many times before. We’ve ordered their bowls and shakes before too. The shop was moderately busy, but there were still open tables.
While I got us complimentary tea from the self-serve station, the owner approached me and explained (through a language barrier) that because they’re a small business, we were taking up seats that new customers might need. The tone made it feel like we weren’t welcome to stay — even though there was available seating and no one waiting.
We were actively drinking our shake and planned to play a quick card game, but the interaction made things awkward, so we left. Afterward, we looked at reviews and saw that other customers had experienced similar situations. It felt uncomfortable and surprising, especially since we’ve been regular customers who always purchase something.
What didn’t make sense from a business perspective is that we’ve been consistent customers and have regularly recommended this place to others in Everett. The interaction made us feel like we weren’t valued and that our presence was an inconvenience so space could be held for “new customers.”
Unfortunately, that moment cost them loyal customers and the word-of-mouth support that comes with it. We had continued coming back because the shakes were great and the staff had always been kind, even though the space itself isn’t the cleanest. We genuinely wanted to support a small business — which is why the experience felt especially disappointing and left us feeling uncomfortable.

We are not vegetarian but we LOVE the vegan coconut chicken!!! Or you're looking for something a bit sweeter the Jackfruit is also phenomenal. Every time we have been, the food is incredibly fresh and delicious! Not to mention massive portions!! Oh, and we would definitely recommend eating in so you can get it in a hot stone bowl!

Personal Experience
My 2nd time ordering to go. First time I had K Fresh it was good, lots of meats, veggies, really was Fresh. I was telling my family about it so I was in the area I went back and order 4 rice bowls to go. 2 beef bowls, I even paid $3 more for extra beef and 2 chicken. I was all excited till I get home, I thought they had forgot to put meat in them, my husband had to move all the veggies around and found only a few string sizes cut beef on top of the rice I thought was a joke. The chicken too, I counted it had 9 cubes of chicken they were tasteless barely any flavor. I was very disappointed, couldn’t call back because they were closed. Will I go back again…no.

The woman behind the counter is friendly, warm, and welcoming. She gives great recommendations for a first time visitor building a stone bowl bipimbop. The quality and wide variety of choices for base, protein, topping options, and sauces are outstanding from start to finish! Be sure to also try the sides of kimchi and Korean mashed potatoes too. But what I really wanted to highlight is the genuine care the staff has for its customers as well as their health and safety. A big, genuine thank you to this place!

It was a great experience! First, you get to select the components of your dish, from what sort of rice (or lettuce or cauliflower rice). Then you select your protein option, which includes some vegan options for those who prefer that. Finally, you can select 5 different toppings from a broad assortment. Your stone bowl goes back to be heated up so you do get some crispy rice! In a few short minutes, it's in front of you, ready to be doused in some of the four sauces brought to the table, and consumed with delight! Looking forward to visiting again!
