Excellent all around. Ordered the Nigiri and Sashimi Bento Box. My first time having both kinds! I’ve only had rolls. You really can taste the unique flavor of each fish when it is naked like that. My server’s recommendation of Spicy Tuna roll was a good one. I can’t handle too spicy, and the rolls were hardly the same caliber of spice as wasabi, which I can handle in small doses. Perfect amount, imo, so that you can still taste everything and aren’t looking for a bathtub to stick your head in to put the fire out. I’ve been here before, and this just solidified my desire to return.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I love sushi from here. Me and my husband come every other week. So delicious and fresh. The Girls that work there are so friendly and remember our order.

This restaurant is more than good. The food is top notch everything is prepared to a standard higher than expectations. The service is gentle and warming. The restaurant is always clean. The bathrooms are wonderful for a bathroom in everett they are amazing. We love coming having family dinner and birthday dinners. Thanks so mich for being a restaurant I can trust to get quality good tasting and fulfilling food.

Vegetarian options: My 6 yr old got a mango veg. Roll and I ate most of it but ahe also loved it.

Very cute interior. Wine and beer bottles decorated the inside. Food was average. Calamari was on the rubbery side but not terrible. Washington roll started strong with the smoked salmon flavor but then was pretty basic. Would recommend if you want to keep things familiar and basic

I really love sushi, but really wasn’t a fan of anything we ordered from here. I ordered 3 rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and miso soup. This was a delivery order - we were not provided chopsticks and our hot soup was put on top of all the sushi. The soup was good, but the fish had a fishy taste, which had me questioning the freshness and was hard to look past. For this reason, we ate very little of what ended up being an expensive order. I think I would be less inclined to review this if the price had been more reasonable. In my opinion, this isn’t was a $20 roll and $29 sashimi/nigiri should be. We did a delivery order, so it’s possible we would have had a better experience in store. But based on this experience, I would hesitate to order from them again.

I visited with my husband for a date night. We had both lived in Hawaii for years before moving to states and I have been missing good sushi. Well we decided to try Kai as we saw other great reviews. Let me tell you that it definitely hit the spot and I was happy dancing through each bite. The sashimi was fresh and delicious while the rolls were filling and great quality.

Kai Sushi in Everett, you've stolen my heart! My first sushi experience with family was a resounding success, thanks to your mouthwatering menu and exceptional service. I'm hooked! The help with choosing the right sake was also very helpful for this newbie! We will be back!
