Our first time at Lanna Thai. Our initial impression was very good. The outdoor appearance, the entry and the interior décor was very appealing. Great architecture and finishes. Really top quality. It was a Monday evening so there were very few customers. We counted approximately 6 tables occupied. There were only 2 folks working the front end of the restaurant. We were greeted and received water by one man. Semi friendly, but the vibe was off.....not feeling welcomed and no warm feeling was conveyed. The other man that was our waiter was less than friendly....very cool demeanor. He was wearing a mask and spoke in a heavy accent that made it difficult to understand him. We did not feel welcome. The food was quite good with the spice level spot on. We ordered beverages and prawn wrap appetizers that were quite good. For our main dishes we ordered Phad Thai w/chicken, red curry w/pork , white rice side, pineapple fried rice all 3 stars. Very, very good food. Portions a bit on the small side, but quality food. Our overall impression was we will come back but we strongly suggest that they have a young lady hostess for greeting and seating. The man with the mask seemed kind of angry. Almost disturbing. He needs training or keep him in the back of the restaurant. The waitstaff needs to be warm, friendly and set the tone for a dining experience. Not just dropping off food..... We tell it like it is. Hoping that management will take these comments to heart.

Went here a couple times while working in the area. The yellow curry was amazing. I ordered it with a side of rice (it doesn't come with it) and got it with no added spice. It was perfect for me. My colleague got 2 different dishes and he said both were great. Coconut prawns were good, not overly sweet served with a really good sauce. The servers were attentive and it wasn't busy on the weeknights that we went.

Went to Lanna Thai Restaurant for the first time! Ordered their Pad See Ew with chicken and extra veggies! Very delicious and fresh tasting!!! The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy! Also, outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it 😍!!!

It was my father's birthday and I wanted to surprise him with some Thai food from Lana Thai. I haven't been there for awhile and stopped by to pick up some dinner. I arrived at my home and opened the container. It was a complete surprise to see all the dishes were filled less than half full! Especially, the Holy Basil dish. The only vegetables in this dish were a few baby bella mushrooms and basil. The lettuce wrap had a few sliver of lettuce in it. It looked like someone ate out of it and save the left over. I was extremely disappointed! Also, I was very embarrassed to present this to my father on his birthday! Charge more if you have to but don't skimp by filling it less than half full! This was not the standard I expected from any Thai restaurant. This was the first time I experienced this. I will not be returning to Lana Thai in the future!

Food was incredible, atmosphere was perfect and my server was even better. I was immediately was met with a smile. I'm usually hard on my reviews but there was literally zero complaints. its intimate but also a place I could have a birthday dinner with my family. Doesn't feel cheap or understaffed. 10 outta 10.

Crispy Garlic Chicken is AWESOME. However, if you order from their website they only give you the choice of Garlic Chicken. Don't order the Garlic Chicken. It's pretty gross. They put a hot chicken slurry over iceburge lettuce so it's all gross and wilted and tastes like old salad. The Crispy Garlic Chicken is good though and I wish they would allow you to order that on their website too.
