One of our favorite bars to come to. Can’t beat the ambiance (live music and mild crowds) or the burger special night on Tuesday's. We look forward to a good burger and home cut fries
for $10 you can’t beat it! Servers are friendly and attentive. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in peak hours but well worth the “walk” if you need to park up the street. We have loved everything we tried so far and come at least 1-2 times a month. Nice place to have a cocktail and good food without the “craziness” of the bar scene like some others in the area.

We finally had the time and opportunity to visit the Madison Ave Pub. We found it to be a welcoming place with a friendly and professional staff. Prices were reasonable and we got to listen to two amazing blues bands. I recommend catching some good music here and enjoying some pretty good pub grub, beers and cocktails.

The female bartender was awful. No greet as we entered. She gave all attention to her (regulars) and literally treated myself and a friend from SC like we were stray dogs. She greeted everyo e else by name as they walked in. I didnt know it was a groupy bar with bad food. We had a bill of $60 and we ate half our food, it was awful too. My friend got a margarita and she put two pieces of a brown lime in his drink. Disgusting!! Not to mention thr water, was light brown. No Thank you. It was a horrible exp for both of us. My friend from out of state had only been in Wa. for 3 days. That was our first exp eating out, as we waited for my truck to be serviced. I will never be back here. The atmosphere was for young coffee drinkers. Not welcoming at at.

It has been a very long time since we have been at this establishment. An old occasional “hang-out” back in the day. I am sure it has changed owners a couple times since then. The food was delicious- my husband had fish and chips which were done just the way he likes them with not too much batter and crispy. I had a Rueben sandwich which in addition to being gigantic, had just the right combined traditional ingredients. Most notable was the friendly service. We were very surprised how often we were checked on and how quickly we received whatever we asked for. Kind of a rarity these days it seems. We will definitely be back much sooner than our last visit!!

After paying for a meal and 2 drinks with a friend I was approached at my table by a gentleman saying this was his local bar and that we had left a bad tip. He was drunk and used vulgar language. I left a 20% tip, I assume the waitress complained to a local at the bar and she sent him to confront me and the person I was with. The service was poor, waitress only came to the table once. Felt very threatened here. Immediately left after the encounter with the local and will never come back, will tell others to avoid. This incident was at 9pm on Tuesday October 29th. I had 2 servers, one blonde one brunette. Not sure which one told the bar patron that drunkenly approached my table on their behalf. Really bad look for an establishment, this bar patron should be 86'd and the servers should be talked to about what they are telling the drunken patrons of this bar.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Not only was the service very poor but my friend and I were threatened as well. The first blonde bartender ignored me while at the counter with ID and card in hand. Then after my friend and I had two drinks we cashed out and sat at the table for a second when we were approached by a drunk man who said the servers said we gave “shitty tips” mind you we both tipped 20% $4 on a $20 tab and $6 on a $34 tab. As a fellow business owner myself I find it wildly inappropriate for any employee to complain about their tips in front let alone to customers.. but to have the audacity to send a regular of theirs over to threaten and embarrass us for something like that was insane. Wont be coming back here again and will be letting my following which consists of local businesses around the area to never come here as well. 0/0 stars

Great to hangout and grab a beer in the evening or go early in morning for breakfast.
