The staff from my experience has been very dismissive, disrespectful and I feel racist. To me feels like a whites only establishment when the owner or Boss isn't there. Not good for business. Today was the worst of the times and I came with my mom and she saw my experience first hand as a women of color. The food is AMAZING. We could not eat and finally asked for Togo boxes, after the bartender/server made sure to help EVERYONE besides me even after coming to my table to be condescending and went to the back, came out and continued to help others as if I wasn't there while looking crazy at me. All I wanted today was some blue cheese dressing.

Madison Avenue pub would be great if you're a local and visit often. We're the former but not the latter. They've got great burgers and sandwiches (huge so plan accordingly) but also load up the plate with more fries than most people can eat. They recommended we order a half order the time before and we did but still got a full order most of which went to waste. All of this is only if you can find a seat. They do take reservations (those tables have the placard on them) but people 'reserve' two or more 4-tops so you might not be able to eat even if you find parking.

Good food & large portions. Forgot my beer order. Not the end of the world then we were basically ignored . Then the check came & card was given. She brings the card & box back to the wrong table. Space cadets l… not returning 👍

Stopped by on Saturday, August 2nd around 2 pm (not busy at all) and It took quite a while to get anyone’s attention, but eventually someone came by to take our drink order. After that, it went downhill. We waited a long time to place a food order, but the bartender never came back—even though she took orders from several people who arrived well after us. We tried to be patient, but after being skipped multiple times, we decided to just stick to one drink and leave. She hardly ever left behind the bar. Her co worker was clearing the tables and doing all the running for food, drinks etc. while she stood behind the bar on her PHONE. (I wish I got her name, the nice lady who was doing everything was named candy. She was fantastic unlike her coworker)
When we went to close out, she tried to charge us for food we never ordered. When we pointed it out, there was no apology—just an awkward moment and then some strange commentary about her “knee hurting” as she started limping dramatically behind the bar.
Poor service, disorganized, and just not worth the hassle. Won’t be coming back.

Lunch time is relaxing and casual. Staff is friendly makes you feel like a regular. Food is delivered fast and fresh. Captain's Platter with the Apple Lemonade cocktail hit the spot for me.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I went here before with my handicap mom and her service animal were not allowed in. THIS IS ILLEGAL. I went a second time with my boyfriend and they paid zero attention to us. I got 1 drink and was never checked up on to see if I wanted another, and was at the pull tab side to play tabs but I was never helped with playing a game. The service here is terrible.
