Memo's Mexican Restaurant

Save your money this place is NOT worth it. Got the carne asada fries and it was disgusting.

Because I am white I was treated like garbage. It makes me feel like I should be prejudice against everyone. Seriously. I have been all about equality my entire life. My Mother was an anthropologist. And so I learned how to give equality to everyone. But now?? Ha ha. My WW11 HERO GRANDPA , CAPTAIN GEORGE H. BUNDY, IS COMING OUT IN ME. HE HE. AND THE SURVIVALIST TRAINING I HAVE HAD THAT I STARTED GETTING AT AN ALMOST TODDLER'S AGE, IS COMING OUT IN ME SO VERY MUCH. AND I AM SCARED BECAUSE I'M NOT STOPPING IT. SO SORRY THIS IS NOT ABOUT MEMO'S. IT SUCKS. FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. AND ALSO, THEY TREATED ME LIKE GARBAGE BECAUSE I AM WHITE. I SPOKE IN SPANISH AND THEY DIDN'T LIKE IT OR SOMETHING. IF YOU ARE WHITE I WOULDN'T GO THERE. HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Felt just like home. Well not my home, but definitely felt like someone’s home. With a grandma who gives me way more food than I could eat. Steak fries are what’s up.

Whoever they have cooking in the day is terrible. The food at night from 10pm on is always well cooked and fresh. But lunch and dinner time is regularly undercooked and cold.

Normally I am not one to complain, but while my wife was grabbing a cup and a to go box, the cook spit the grossest loogie onto the floor. My stomach is turning right now.🤢🤮

I have a love/hate relationship with Memo's. 😍😡
👍 First the pros: Their food is EXCELLENT, which is why my family and I keep coming back here to eat for many, many years. 🤩
.... But there are unfortunately many cons of this restaurant!!!
👎 Cons: They frequently/almost ALWAYS sneakily find ways of overcharging for their food!!! 🤑 They charge MORE than what their menu price says REPEATEDLY, so you have to check your receipt every single time, to make sure you weren't overcharged!! 🤬
Also, their atmosphere is in desperate need of updated decor, and a deep clean!! Everything in their restaurant looks outdated and dingy. 😬
.... But overall the employees are friendly, and the food is good, so my family and I put up with the cons of eating here because we still enjoy the good food, even if it is massively overpriced. 🥰🌮😁🌯😜

Got a breakfast burrito from here and took 2 bites then threw it out. It was the worst thing I ever tasted.

This use to be THE place i would ask my husband yo stop at on the way home from work but its seems their quality is going down and the prices are going up the burritos are small compared to what they use to be and istead of them being 8 dollars they are almost 15 for something a lot smaller not worth it! I would have better understood if the burritos had got smaller but the price stayed the same ...i am very dissapointed. I might have to try rancho grande market. I hear their burritos are good .

They qualify of food is way down. I stop going often because these dude thats works there gave me a bad vibe. Plus to piss me more of he wanted to charge me $1 for tap water....

The food has gone up 1.00. I remember specifically because I used to get a bean and cheese burrito for 5$ even. Now, it’s 6$. What’s even worse is the carne asada fries are usually huge and amazing definitely worth 11-12 dollars, I ordered some tonight and not only is it 13 dollars, the portion size was MARKABLY LESS than it has been for over 10 years since I’ve been coming. It’s about half the size they usually make, plus it’s not just mine, my husbands was also the same size. Not only is memos marking prices up, they are skimping on portions. Definetly not coming back. There’s a good place on casino closer to the freeway which is better with more salsa options.
