Miyako Teriyaki is our go-to spot for a quick, reliable meal. Service is fast, portions are generous, and the food is always delicious. Great variety on the menu, and everything comes out hot and fresh every time.

Really good Teriyaki and has become my local favorite. I'm not sure if this is the same Miyako's that was in Canyon Park (Bothell) for many years.... if the owner would care to answer that question I would appreciate it.

Delicious and hits just the spot. Ive gotten takeout here before and they never fail to impress me with their portion sizes, but it is always worth it to dine in for the complimentary egg drop and miso soup! it is just the best part about this place!

This is a nice little place with a wide selection. I was pleasantly surprised by the free soups. A very nice appetizer while waiting for my food.

I used to order here alot. Last night we ordered chicken teriyaki and beef stir fry. The beef stir fry looked very bad. The meat looked grey and I took two bites. There was definitely something wrong with the meat. I threw the whole container away. That night I was throwing up the entire night. I think I got food poisoning. I didn't eat anything else that night, I am sure that was the culprit. Will not go here again

Miyako's Teriyaki used to be our weekly treat. Nicely grilled, good amount of food for the price.
But for the past year or so the food prep has taken a turn...Not sure if it's a change in cooks, or maybe they don't care about the customer's request: "please don't burn the sauce"! They didn't care. We stopped eating there.
We recently returned to give Miyako another chance in hopes the Spicey Chicken Teriyaki would be as we once enjoyed. Much to our dismay, the Spicey Chicken Teriyaki tasted like the chicken is dredged in sand, then annointed with the sauce. Unsavory taste, even when I try to scrape all the charred sauce off.
Teryaki sauce has a high sugar content, which tends to burn easily. There is a fine line between properly grilled teriyaki...most cooks add the teriyaki sauce towards the end of cooking as a glaze to ensure the sugars caramelize without burning.
Or maybe just cleaning the grill between prep would improve Miyako's results.
We will seek another restuarant that knows how to deliver good teriyaki, with equally good customer service!
Maybe Kings?

Thought I found my new go to take out spot ….unfortunately the person working the register tried to over charge me a ridiculous amount for take out.
