Good food. Very good. And nice staff. The only reason I'm only giving 2 stars is for 2 reasons:

1) When I made the reservation I wrote in the notes that we were celebrating 2 birthdays! There was ZERO acknowledgement of that when we arrived. :( Made me feel sad actually. MOST restaurants at least acknowledge it either with a simple candle on a dessert or with the host even saying happy birthday upon check in. NOTHING from them. Not very conscientious in their management of communications. :(

2) The second reason I am only giving 2 stars is - after we paid, our waters were not checked on. And the place was NOT that crowded by that time. Usually at a restaurant, even if we paid already but just hanging for a little bit to talk after, they'll at least check in whether it's clearing more plates or just a quick water refill because we just dropped good money to pay you guys. None of that with this restaurant. :(

Good food but we won't return.

We were seated very quickly, and the menu selection was good. The server was kind, but he took my order incorrectly, which caused an extra wait. The donburi did not meet my expectations at all—especially for a $49 dish. It was mostly rice and didn’t look or feel worth the price.

I also ordered a matcha sparkling water but was given a fruity one instead. When I asked the server to confirm, he said that was the only type they had, which was disappointing.

Absolutely delicious! Was warm, ambient and cozy on a rainy night. We had excellent service, and ordered shishito peppers and two rolls that were incredible. Left with full bellies and smiles!

This is unique sushi and sushi-ish dishes. Really good service and high quality fish. Standout favorite was the Seabream tapa.

Very delicious but pricey. I've been here twice and there has been a price increase between those visits. One dish jumped up in price by $10.

The quality is there and they feature some very inventive and flavorful dishes.

The salmon burrata was fantastic. The tempura was average. The sushi rolls were high quality fish, but not as big as some other restaurants. I don't know if that's because they use less rice, or if it's for another reason. Cocktails were creative and drinkable.

Service is alright. They asked us if we wanted dessert and while we were looking at the dessert menu they brought us the check. I get that maybe many people politely say they will consider dessert, when they have no intention of actually ordering it. But, we were actually looking at the dessert menu to order. We didn't want to be difficult patrons and send back the check back to order dessert, which then would have resulted in them having to print another check later. So, we just left and got dessert elsewhere.

Also, our table was extremely wobbly and caused our drinks to spill. We asked for some cardboard under one of the table legs and I got the impression that the server was annoyed we wanted to eat on a level surface. I think if you're paying more than $100 for two people, your table shouldn't wobble to the point where your $15 cocktails are spilled.

Very nice place with friendly and attentive staff and tasty sushi. Flexible to spicy/non spicy options. Loved how they served their dishes. The lunch for 3 cost us $113+tips. It was not very crowdy on Sunday.

I visited this restaurant back in 2022; impressed by the freshness of the sashimi (especially the sea bream). Revisited this place recently (summer 2025), sat at the same spot, ordered the same thing, but felt like the food is not up to my standards anymore

went here twice before going to concerts nearby (fromis_9 & dua lipa) and both times were awesome! the staff is super kind and very attentive. my friend and i got super lucky getting a table before the dua lipa concert without a reservation.

food came out VERY fast; like less than 10 minutes for both visits. the vegetable tempura is a very generous portion, definitely meant to be shared. the pork gyoza is also super flavorful and a great starter!

for sushi, i had “the lobster” the first time, and then the “in & out” the second visit. call me basic but the california roll for “the lobster” was soooo yummy and the lobster on top was the perfect addition! i felt so basic yet so fancy. the “in & out” was no different: the shrimp tempura with be crab mix and the asian pesto sauce was just chefs kiss. would definitely recommend both rolls, especially “the lobster” if you want something simple yet elevated.

please do NOT sleep on their dessert menu! i wish i had gotten dessert the first time, but i did not repeat that mistake second time around. i shared a scoop of lychee sorbet with my bestie and hands down the best sorbet i’ve ever had. it was a nice refreshing dessert, not too sweet and i believe there were chunks of lychee in the sorbet? it was perfection. dessert is a MUST!

overall would 100% recommend, especially right before a concert but i suggest reserving a table especially if it’s a climate pledge concert! there’s also a good chance they’ll play the music of the artist that’s performing that night (ex: dua lipa) so it’s a great pregame vibe as well.

My wife is a chef of 32 years. We have a hard time finding good food. This place is the real deal. Food is incredible. Service is amazing. Honestly, the is a Michelin worthy restaurant with the tuna appetizer that has truffle oil. Heaven.

This was the most amazing Japanese fusion I’ve had… probably ever. Being a chef and the world traveler… that says a lot. Bluefin tuna with truffle….🤯❤️‍🔥

Went for Friday night dinner around 9. The place was not super busy and parking is right outside. They were pretty fast with the service. We got the nigiri combination with spicy tuna. It had some interesting combinations and the spicy tuna was pretty good. We also got negi hama roll which was nice and surprisingly small. I got the hama lava which was not super good. The sauce made the sushi soggy and to me did not complement well. I also got 2 old fashion which was nice. Service was superb and the staff were very nice.
