I ordered a dragon roll, caterpillar roll, and calamari through uber eats. The rolls both had mayo on them and WAY too much at that. I’ve never seen either of those items topped with mayo at the numerous other sushi restaurants I’ve been to and wouldn’t have gotten them if I’d known. Unfortunately, uber eats didn’t list a description of either item. The calamari tasted fake as well. I will not be returning.

Unfortunately they were quite busy and the pickup order was about a half hour past when they told me it would be ready :(

I been order from here for last seven years, always had good experiences but today was disappointing. I called many times but phone system wasn’t working so I couldn’t order ahead had to wait 30 minutes for food to be done when they say it be in 10min. Got home discovered they forgot salad and sashimi portion was half want it usually is. Never seen sashimi so small as this. and I paid $80 for two person and we were still hungry

Baked lobster roll was small in proportion and made with crawfish. Tasteless crawfish. 🤢 Washington roll was freezer burnt tasting as well. Hard to imagine sushi being fresher in Coeur d’ Alene Idaho than this place right next to the ocean, but it is! My wife and two kids$200 for crawfish. Shame on this place

We stumbled on Oshima sushi by happy accident! My previous favorite was Izumi sushi at Kirkland. Ordered the unaju donburi and they add additional toppings!! I love it!

The fish pieces are large and cut well. The rice is cooked and mixed to perfection. You can feel the individual grain.

The yakisoba actually have the real sauce that's a bit vinegary. Its excellent

I've dined in and I've taken out. Whoever is doing takeout orders don't even bother calling them beforehand because they won't start making it until you arrive which defeats the entire point of calling in the order. This has happened every single time the last 4 years. As a mom I don't have that much time. As a mom I don't have that much time so this is literally a waste of time if you're taking out. Dining in. It's pretty good. I think Kai sushi is 100% better food wise. This is my second choice in sushi. People are very nice obviously. But I'm not completely into the menu and their prices.... I don't mind a pricey menu, and I just expect perfection in the taste buds.... And I don't get that. I get mediocre every time

Limited, cozy space with stellar staff and several expected & well-done sushi rolls, teriyaki dishes, Japanese sides, and a few ice cream offerings 🍣 🍨. Also the only Japanese restaurant near me with options for the thick-noodle udon soup I like so much, so I'm a regular customer now 😋!

With popularity comes freshness and broader availability of items. This place should place 1st or 2nd in North Seattle's best sushi. In addition to sushi they have great bento boxes, broiled tuna/salmon collars (must try) and the new age crunchy modern rolls we've all come to love.
The restaurant it's self inside is modern nothing fancy, but not displeasing. Have no fear, No fishy taste here, all items are fresh. A must visit north of Seattle.
