By far one of my favorite spots here in Washington. I’ve never been to any other restaurant that compares to this one everything on the menu is amazing and the inside is beautiful and peaceful. Definitely recommend if you’re craving some japanese food. 10/10

This was our second visit to this place. The first time was already disappointing: we were a group of five (four adults and one child), and an extra service charge was added for the group without any prior notice. It was not mentioned in the menu and no one informed us in advance, which was very upsetting.
The atmosphere feels quite outdated. You can tell the restaurant has been operating for a long time — the interior looks worn and not very cozy.
The ordering process is strange and old-fashioned. You have to mark your order on a paper sheet using a pencil with a plastic fork attached, and then the waiter comes and asks you to repeat the exact same order, as if they couldn’t write it down themselves. It would be much better to switch to a more modern system, like tablets on the tables.
We only received water after we asked for it again, and that was after the food had already arrived, even though we ordered it as soon as we sat down.
The food is prepared quickly. The rolls are a decent size for the price, with plenty of fish and not too much rice. The presentation is interesting. The bill came to about $50 per adult including a child, which is average for similar places in this area.
I would recommend this place for a quick bite or a fast lunch or dinner, but not for meeting friends or a date — it’s definitely not a place for

I ordered a dragon roll, caterpillar roll, and calamari through uber eats. The rolls both had mayo on them and WAY too much at that. I’ve never seen either of those items topped with mayo at the numerous other sushi restaurants I’ve been to and wouldn’t have gotten them if I’d known. Unfortunately, uber eats didn’t list a description of either item. The calamari tasted fake as well. I will not be returning.
So amazing food. It was my first time, but I will definitely come back soon!

I been order from here for last seven years, always had good experiences but today was disappointing. I called many times but phone system wasn’t working so I couldn’t order ahead had to wait 30 minutes for food to be done when they say it be in 10min. Got home discovered they forgot salad and sashimi portion was half want it usually is. Never seen sashimi so small as this. and I paid $80 for two person and we were still hungry

This was and I mean the best sushi restaurant me and my husband have been through even as we have been to quite a few the food was amazing the fish was soft and lovely full of flavor in the rolls the price was amazing and our server was kind and friendly!! Highly recommend! The wait time was little as well food came out fast!
