Tucked away on a side street, this place is easy to overlook with all the fast food places in the area. There's no signage from the main street, or even on the sidewalk. The only way to tell it's there, the front facing sign of a submarine that's says sub shop.

I only stumbled upon it while walking a new route, but I'm sure glad I did!
The owner was a very nice gentleman who clearly had seen the changes of the times in that area...

Subman is the best! Amazingly friendly, go once and he'll know your sandwich forever.
Bring cash, he's a small business and doesn't want to charge extra for debit/credit fees.

Walked in and the owner immediately made me feel like family. Freshly sliced meets, good selection of soda/chips (and oddly enough wafer cookies?) means ill be back time and time again. This is my new go-to spot for a sandwich and good conversation.

Yes it is Cash Only. But if my keeping some cash on hand or stopping at an ATM means supporting a business and individual thats been around the area for over 4 decades? Minor inconvenience that i am more than willing...
